"Construction everywhere.....NOT posted on site. Staff was friendly and apologetic, but would've never stayed had we known. Toilets/water were out for a day. Had the construction workers garbage in front of our door."

"Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The heating/cooling is a bit noisy. Outside the room would benefit from some better walkways as it was very easy to pick up thorns in your shoes."

"The place doesn't look like the pictures in the website. Rooms are not real clean. Bathroom is very very small and dirty. Wifi doesn't work and management is aware of it and not doing anything about it. Can't wait to get out of here. Never again "

"We had to change rooms twice. The first room had no working power outlets. The 2nd room TV set had been smashed. The hotel manager said he assumed the previous guests got into a fight. The building is 75 years old and clearly a challenge to maintain. The room was very dirty. Everything seemed to be held together by duct tape to include the bed frame which was not the same size as the mattress and box spring. We were not confident the frame was going to hold... but the mattress was quite comfortable and we got a great night's sleep."

"We loved the Rose House. Very roomy with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Had internet and tv which my son loved. Everything in the house that you need. Very clean. The location is within walking distance of everything in Marathon. We will come back. Erin was great with her communication. "
