"5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....

The apartment has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable and spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. "Terrible experience: shower is tiny and water floods everywhere. Two dead bugs in it. Pillows are small and extremely thick, as the mattresses are. It was impossible to sleep properly. AC working very badly: noisy and leaking water on our heads while trying to catch sleep. We left after one day, despite 5 night booking. Not nice losing the money, but we didn’t want to have our vacation ruined. Expedia agent was very kind and efficient to help us, we can’t say the same with the property owner....
