"Although an older hotel, you can see the commitment to experience for the guests. The food was very good. The rooms were good, I was in an older room. Although I had a great view of the outdoor space, the lighting was dim, and space was a little dated. Colleagues on the other side of the hall had updated rooms (closets, lighting, bathrooms). I was comfortable, felt safe, and was fortunate to enjoy the outdoor space, the food, and the excellent service from the team members. Would recommend this site!"

I found this disappointing, as I would have appreciated more assistance in resolving the matter, regardless of where the reservation was made. While I enjoyed most aspects of my stay, this experience was not ideal and did affect my overall impression. I hope the hotel can improve how such issues are handled in the future to ensure all guests feel supported, regardless of how they book their stay."

The property is not a close walk to downtown. We took taxis, which we enjoyed, because the cabbies were friendly and gave us explanations of what we were passing. It is close to the Royal Botanical Gardens and the Zoo, which we enjoyed. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Port of Spain."
