Beautiful, private home in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk to the beach or quaint downtown Manzanita is perfect for your beach get-a-way.

Enjoy family & friends in this cheerful unique decor in an open living/dining space with vaulted ceilings. A wall of windows lets in the light or gives a view of winter storms. Fully equipped kitchen, with an extra kitchenette, everything you need to cook for and entertain a large group.

The downstairs area 2 bedrooms, laundry and living area/game room with a not-so-comfy sectional that turns into a king size bed, makes this home great for two families or a little extra privacy. The downstairs has a foosball table, big screen TV and an Xbox 360 with games and there is an outdoor dart board under the deck. The second master on the lower level that has its own bathroom and outside access to the private patio for using the spa.

Upstairs, in addition to the light-filled living and dining areas there are two spacious bedrooms; one is a luxurious master suite with an attached private bathroom, dual closets and a sitting area. The other, with it's whimsical decor, is at the end of the hall to provide privacy for the adults or space for kids to play and make some noise.

Gather outdoors and grill on the secluded upper deck or soak in the large spa on the patio, which can be accessed from the deck or the downstairs master. Covered outdoor area with darts and a chiminea. Other amenities include a two large ROKU Smart TV's, wifi, a small office space and washer & dryer. Plenty of books, DVDs, games and toys for the young at heart. There is beach equipment available in the garage for you to use and you will enjoy the short walk to town or the ocean from our property.

Our home-away-from-home is perfect for your next family vacation, romantic get-a-way or work retreat.

Great house for large family

We did not get to use all of the perks of this house--the ping pong table and hot tub looked fun, but we had just as much fun playing games and walking around town. Manzanita is such a cute town with just enough to do and minimal crowds. Wish the downstairs bathroom was not in the bedroom, but other than that, the layout was great and lots of bedrooms and hang out space in living room/ kitchen. Other great things were deck which was great to hang out on and a well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again if we had a large group in Manzanita!

Beach Getaway

Getting to stay at Brenda's house for our beach getaway made for such a magical weekend. Our kids really loved the toy cars and the adults really enjoyed the open spaces and hanging out in the hot tub after the kids were in bed. Much love to Brenda for sharing such a great place.

Perfect family getaway

This beautiful, well maintained and well equipped house is perfect for us, as we all have our own spaces, and we have artistic, airy, shared spaces to come together. The beach is right down the road, town is a short walk, and a clean, quiet refuge to begin and end the day of adventure. I'm grateful we found such a perfect place for our annual family visit to Manzanita.

Perfect Manzanita Getaway

We loved staying in the Mermaid House! There were 6 of us + a pup and we had the perfect amount of space (4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms). The kitchen was well stocked which allowed us to make delicious meals and treats both inside and outside on the grill. The hot tub was a huge added bonus and work great. I would love to stay here again!

Fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay here for a week. The house is well set up for an extended family group with several bathrooms and a separate living area in the basement. The hot tub is a treat and it's an easy walk to the beach and town. Lots of fun games, toys, and a well appointed kitchen. Brenda was easy to communicate with. We'd love to make it a tradition and stay here again.

Manzanita Va-ca!

Spacious accommodations near the beach provided an exceptional experience for my family. Communication with host was rapid and helpful. Manzanita is a cute coastal town; the beach was beautiful and dog friendly. Walking for hours is a great adventure! Highly recommend this house.

Another great stay!

We had another great stay this year. The house is great and well-stocked. Brenda is an amazing host who truly went above and beyond to help us recover some precious items we forgot there. The living and dining area is comfortable and fits our large group easily. Highly recommend!

Great two family option

We stayed in the house with another family (four adults, four kids) and there was space for all. The house was well stocked and the kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong tables. Easy walk to the beach with a wagon provided in the garage (and beach chairs which we appreciated). Main Street was a short walk as well. Thank you for a great week at the beach.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this beautiful home! The property is bright, colorful, and thoughtfully designed with every detail in mind. It’s clear the hosts have put a lot of care into ensuring all the essentials are covered, and we appreciated how well-stocked the home was.What really stood out to us was how family-friendly it is—there were toys, games, and activities for kids of all ages, from toddlers up to teenagers! Great house, close to everything

Can’t beat the location, so close to both the beach and town. The hot tub was amazing especially in the winter. The other outdoor areas looked nice too, would also consider staying in the summer. The main living area was spacious enough for everyone. Well stocked kitchen. The only thing to note is that the upstairs bedrooms are way nicer than the basement rooms. Not a deal breaker and pretty typical with places we’ve rented in the past. The kitchenette area in the basement and 2nd mini living room was great though!

A perfect week in Manzanita

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this home! The location was lovely, a very relaxing and quiet neighborhood, but with close access to both the beach and to the main street, where there were shops and stores to explore. The house was fully furnished, cozy and well decorated, and provided ample linens, toiletries, and supplies for cooking. We enjoyed the hot tub too! The split levels made it easy for our extended family to spread out into their own bedrooms, the large TVs had all of these subscription services we needed, and the house was definitely set up for a relaxing time! We loved going to the bookstore, playing fetch on the beach with our two small dogs, trying different coffee shops, grilling on the patio, and drinking local wine. We’ve come to the Oregon coast every year for a few years now, and this house and location are our new favorite! Thank you for an incredible stay.
