It was very handy having a restaurant and bar located onsite. There is even a cellar with a decent wine selection Since it was winter when we stayed we often spent an evening by the fire in a room near the cellar and enjoyed a glass of wine

Cranberry cottage, Ladybrand - what a find

Ideally situated close to Lesotho border. Stayed in Mohale room which was very well equipped with everything we could have wanted. Staff extremely helpful and friendly - well trained. Dinner in restaurant was another pleasant surprise. We heard lots of people recommending dishes so obviously frequent guests at the hotel/restaurant. Our steaks were perfectly cooked Highly recommend staying here

Friendly staff

The manager on night shift and restaurant staff were very friendly. The hotel seems to be the highest class in town though its exterior look does not look so. A nice surprise though the food was not outstanding.

Don't arrive on a Sunday!

The office and restaurant were closed when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. The guard led us to our room. We were expecting to eat at the hotel having been informed of the restaurant, but learned upon arrival that it was closed. There aren't a lot of dining options in this town! The WiFi is not free. There was no information provided about it when we arrived in the room so we had to find the guard again who ASKED TO BORROW OUR PHONE to call the owners to get the WiFi voucher! The Wifi allows a limited amount of data for free but then since the office was closed and no one available to help, we had no options to purchase extra vouchers. All in all, it was a disappointing visit.
