Already booked a return!
First lets just say amazing and honest communication with the owner! It was perfect for our weekend away. Near the event we were attending, near a gas station and a dollar general for things you might need last minute. Beautiful outdoor area from the trees to the private deck. Wonderful kitchen with more gadgets then we would ever need in a weekend! Before we checked out, we decided we want to come back every year!

Great Cottage Apartment
The wooded area off from the private deck made us feel like we were there by ourselves. We enjoyed hanging out at the deck and listening to the birds. The apartment was very clean and well-stocked--actually, they provided more kitchen staples than we expected. The owners are super nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back to stay the next time we come in for my family reunion.

Always happy to return for another visit.
This was the third time my partner and I have stayed here and the visit was wonderful once again. With such welcoming hosts, a beautiful apartment, and surrounding lovely scenery, it is starting to feel like our home away from home when visiting the racetrack.

Nice place in the country.
I liked being out away from the city. Some museums were not open yet but the restaurants in Mansfield are great. Would recommend for anyone.

A wonderful place to stay.
My partner and I returned here after a great experience on our first visit. We feel very fortunate to have found such a beautiful place to stay while visiting the Mid-Ohio race track for the weekend. Donna and Art are fantastic hosts and all around great people.

Quiet retreat for Mid-Ohio
We had an amazing stay with Donna and Art! The apartment was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for a weekend away. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and even gave us a bonus tour of their beautiful home. The cinnamon rolls were an added treat. We will definitely be coming back!

Cleanest place ever

Great Stay Again!
Donna and Art’s schoolhouse location is great! It’s set in a beautiful wooded area. It was so nice to spend our downtime on the outdoor patio enjoying the peace and quiet of the area.

Great little place to stay!
This is our second stay here and we will definitely come again! Just a half hour from my sister's house, it's great to have an alternative when the whole family is visiting (and her guest room is overflowing) as they were for my niece's graduation party this past weekend. Clean and comfortable with amiable hosts (and fresh-baked cinnamon rolls this time!), this is a place we will gladly stay again. We enjoyed our stay and even got to see the peacock this time. We definitely recommend!

This was perfect for my HPDE event at Mid Ohio from Friday through Sunday. Just minutes from the track so there was no need to leave the area once I arrived Friday afternoon. I used the grill for steaks and had dinner on the deck. The internet worked great and so did the cable TV. The Dollar General was 800 feet away and was all I needed for beverages. This will be my first choice on the next trip.

Great night away
Perfect for the wife and I to get an evening away. Hosts were wonderful, gave us a tour of the entire property. Very friendly people. House was immaculate, clean, well furnished and most of all quiet. Very secure and secluded on the property. Got the best night of sleep we've had in years. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet clean and comfortable place to stay.

Very Pleasant Place to Stay
This property is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for something set in the country and close enough to various local attractions. Donna and Art are wonderful hosts. The resident peacock is a wonderful bonus! We have stayed here several times and plan to stay here hopefully many more times in the future.

Place for me and my son
My son and I were in the area for Shooting Nationals at the Cardinal Center. This was a delightful and refreshing place to stay for us! It was very comfortable and clean and was so nice to come back to after a long day at the range. Donna and Art are very pleasant hosts and extremely helpful and kind and yet left us our space and privacy. Thank you very much, Donna and Art!

Great location for Race Weekend
Had a great time at the Old Schoolhouse. Was very clean and well stocked. Enjoyed a day at the Mid Ohio track which is 2 miles away and then a pleasant evening grilling up some steaks on the deck. Will be back.

Great experience!
We were visiting my sister over the weekend to see 2 of my nieces in their school's musical and needed a place to stay overnight. My husband found this gem and we booked it. I confirmed with the hosts that our late check-in (after the play) would be fine and they were very accommodating. As a matter of fact, they waited up for us so we didn't have to try to find our way in the dark to the door (and we got there at 11 pm on time change night, so essentially midnight). They were very kind and accommodating. The place was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

The property was perfect. Clean and roomy and a great place to relax. Just around the corner from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Donna gave great directions and a nice tour upon arrival. Ask about the peacock! The only drawback is that it's out in the country so cell service can be spotty. I'll be back!

Great Getaway!
Rented this studio to get away for the weekend and relax. The reservoir was perfect for kayaking and there are great hiking trails close by. Donna and Art are very welcoming and accommodating and the studio was perfect for me! Thanks for allowing me to stay, hope to make it back again soon!

Beautiful location near Mansfield
Donna and Art were so welcoming and accommodating and we felt right at home in the studio, which was very well kept and spacious! The outdoor area was perfect for evening campfires, card games and grilling. We especially enjoyed learning about the schoolhouse's history! We will definitely plan to stay here again if we visit the area.

Donna and Art are cordial and most hospitable and their suite is more than comfortable. The neighborhood Peacock, Pinkey, is quite extraordinary and beautiful. Their location is perfect for access to the racetrack and Lexington for shopping etc.

Upon a recent visit to see family in this area we thought that this property looked like it might be a refreshing break from a hotel. We certainly were not disappointed. The lovely gas stove and the well appointed kitchen allowed us to fix a great breakfast, which was served to our relative on the deck overlooking the woods. The bed was extremely comfortable and the host and hostess were very gracious and accommodating.

The studio apartment was extremely spacious and well maintained. Donna and Art were the most gracious hosts. We fell in love with Tilly :-) . Everything was as described if not better. If we ever return to the area we will plan far enough in advance to secure this apartment again. Hopefully you will get a history of the house-it's priceless.

My husband and I rented this place while we were racing at Mid-Ohio for the weekend. The apartment was very convenient to the track and had everything we needed. It was great to come back from the track and enjoy the backyard deck and grill to cook dinner. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The owner was very nice and gave me a tour of her beautiful home. We would definitely stay here again!
