The Farmhouse was a wonderful experience with children and teenagers. The free animal feed was a real benefit to young ones to get to know the animals.The only downside was to the set up of bedrooms on the second floor of the farmhouse.

The Mohican Farm House was a wonderful family friendly mini farm. The kids loved interacting with the farm animals and fishing in the pond. The house is close to Mohican State Park and Pleasant Hill Lake. The host was very friendly and took the kids to the chicken coop to retrieve eggs. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing family experience.

Everything and way more! The perfect country escape for our kids. We met so many animals and caught so many fish. We were In town for a wedding and our stay at the farmhouse was just as amazing as the wedding. Thank you so much for creating family memories that will last a lifetime .

A spacious historic farmhouse located within 5 minutes of Mohican State Park entrance. Very peaceful surroundings with a variety of farm animals, which the kids enjoyed feeding. A small pond is on site and many of our group (adults and children) spent time fishing for bluegill and/or floating in the paddle boat. The kitchen is well equipped.Host is very responsive and easy to contact.The location is convenient to our extended family and we'll consider staying there for future meet ups.

We had a blast at the property. All my adult kids and my toddler grandchild loved the animals. We all love to hike so the location couldn’t be more perfect. The place was very pet friendly as well.

Such a spacious and awesome place to stay! The beds were comfortable. I left without back pain which is rare. The kids loved all of the animals and feeding them. The owner communicated well with us. No complaints.

Unique adventure for kids and adults. Large historical farmhouse property with animals, fishing, paddleboat, campfire, grilling and so very quiet at night. Great hiking and canoeing nearby. Everyone had a great time!

Shane was very quick to reply when I messaged any questions. The rural farm atmosphere with all the animals was great. The kids lived it! And it’s pet friendly so I got to bring my dog along. His daughter is saving for college and offered some baked sweets —her cinnamon rolls were amazing!

Beautiful property to relax and unwind. The kids loved all of the animals on site and spent as much time as they could outside. Close to Mohican and just a short drive to Amish country! Owner was very responsive and prompt. No complaints at all!

A Breath of Fresh Air

A delightful place to revive and refresh. The farm animals add a unique charm, and the house is lovely. Close to trails, the State Park, and tourist activities. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property!!

Absolutely adored this stay and the beautiful property. The animals are so fun to feed and watch! My favorite part was the cats because they are super friendly and will cuddle with you while sitting on the porch. So sad I couldn’t take them with me :( If you are looking for a relaxing stay, this is the place!!

Weekend getaway for all

We had all ages and dogs and everyone was happy! Kids loved the animals and feeding the cats daily and adults loved relaxing in the screen porch and watching the turkey and the chickens. Nice kitchen and enough room for us to enjoy our meals together. Convenient hiking right from the house to take the dogs on walks. Very nice stay!

Grandkids Christmas getaway

Our Grandkids asked to do something with us with their Christmas money so we rented the Mohican Farmhouse for three nights and took 7 of them. They fished, played with the animals, collected fresh eggs, and just enjoyed “farmhouse living” for three days and nights. They absolutely loved it!
