Such a spacious and awesome place to stay! The beds were comfortable. I left without back pain which is rare. The kids loved all of the animals and feeding them. The owner communicated well with us. No complaints.

This was a wonderful property for our family while we were in the area for a wedding. The kids (and adults as well!) loved the animals. There were plenty of comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again! The host was very responsive and easy to work with. Thanks so much!

Fun getaway!

Beautiful property to relax and unwind. The kids loved all of the animals on site and spent as much time as they could outside. Close to Mohican and just a short drive to Amish country! Owner was very responsive and prompt. No complaints at all!

Family getaway

It was ever thing we wanted and more. The house was cozy and comfortable, the animals were friendly and fun. It really felt like a home away from home. Will definitely be back.

Love the farmhouse!

Our family of 12, 6 kids and 6 adults, had another wonderful stay at the farmhouse! The kids love the animals and we enjoyed fishing at the pond. The house is well equipped, clean and has so many nice touches. We had a warm campfire and did some star gazing. Big backyard sufficient to set up a soccer net or other yard games. Wonderful memories made!

Great Stay

Unique adventure for kids and adults. Large historical farmhouse property with animals, fishing, paddleboat, campfire, grilling and so very quiet at night. Great hiking and canoeing nearby. Everyone had a great time!

A Breath of Fresh Air

A delightful place to revive and refresh. The farm animals add a unique charm, and the house is lovely. Close to trails, the State Park, and tourist activities. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property!!

Absolutely adored this stay and the beautiful property. The animals are so fun to feed and watch! My favorite part was the cats because they are super friendly and will cuddle with you while sitting on the porch. So sad I couldn’t take them with me :( If you are looking for a relaxing stay, this is the place!!

Weekend getaway for all

We had all ages and dogs and everyone was happy! Kids loved the animals and feeding the cats daily and adults loved relaxing in the screen porch and watching the turkey and the chickens. Nice kitchen and enough room for us to enjoy our meals together. Convenient hiking right from the house to take the dogs on walks. Very nice stay!

Grandkids Christmas getaway

Our Grandkids asked to do something with us with their Christmas money so we rented the Mohican Farmhouse for three nights and took 7 of them. They fished, played with the animals, collected fresh eggs, and just enjoyed “farmhouse living” for three days and nights. They absolutely loved it!

Wonderful Property

We met to celebrate an early Christmas. 6 adults and 4 children under 9. It was wonderful, the house was decorated for the season and definitely exceeded our expectations. The kids had a blast too, feeding the animals and exploring the property and nearby state park. We also went to castle to see the lights which was a short 15 minutes away. I recommend for a little getaway.

Perfect Family Get-together

Perfect for Family with All ages of children/grandchildren. The weather was perfect for all the outdoor activities! Grandkids fed the animals, fished, played outdoor games, and enjoyed the campfire at night and in the morning. It was Our 45th Anniversary with a total of us, 23 (includes 13 grandchildren ranging from age 3 to 18). We used the Farm Landscape to take Family Pictures, Perfect backdrop of the Pond and the Mohican Forest. Enjoyed Our Time at the Farmhouse!

Mohican mini farm

Booked this property for my family . We all enjoyed the animals and beautiful property. The farm house was neat . Some original and some newer additions. Very relaxing and private. We had a fire in the pit outside. Catch and release fishing at the pond on site.

Relaxing Get-A-Way with Farm Animals and Firepit

My family loved our long weekend visit. We enjoyed peaceful starry nights around the firepit, several activities at or near Mohican State Park (apple picking, hiking, horseback riding) and the hours of entertainment from the farm animals and outdoor cats. The teens and their friends hung outside feeding and playing with the animals. It was also beneficial to have a full-sized kitchen with all the amenities to prepare & serve meals and comfortable living areas to relax at our leisure. It was a much needed respite for our family and I would absolute return.

Fun at the Farmhouse!

This was our 2nd stay at this clean, spacious, well equipped home. We spent our time visiting the animals, fishing in the pond and playing games. The kids named the cats last year and greeted each one by name on the porch. No need to get in the car; plenty of entertainment right on the farm!

Family vacation

My wife, three children and their spouses along with our 5 grandchildren stayed a week here. The grandkids and our adult children loved this place! The animals were a huge hit! They loved feeding them and wanted to go to the barn first thing every morning. They loved fishing as well. This farmhouse had all the amenities of home. We usually try a different place every year but they all voted they want to come back to this house next year! Definitely brought home many memories

Great Farmhouse

We stayed at the farmhouse for a weekend in April to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. The owners allowed us to check in early so we could decorate for the surprise. I was so excited to see that they left "feed" for us to feed all the animals. We had 4 kids all together, ages ranging from 9 to 14, and they loved feeding the animals and fishing in the pond. The back enclosed patio was perfect for us to gather and play board games. I highly recommend for a great time!
