The house is located in a tranquil area in a small town and is perfect get away for people who want to enjoy the french country side in peace and quite. The area is good for walks and visiting small villages. The house and pool are great and surrounded by a big private garden. "Onze week in deze woning : de ontvangst was prettig. Na aankomst bleek dat de wasmachine nier werkte. Dit bleek bij de eigenaar bekend. Een oplossing bleek er niet te zijn. Jammer. "From the word Go I was impressed by the location of the property and the kindness of the owners. The property is charming and quirky, the facilities are amazing, the sleeping quarters with ensuite bathroom are excellent, what is there not to like? "Dear gods! I thought I'd have a tiny, but cute room. Place was bigger than my house! Full kitchen. Raindrop shower. And the ceilings...just exposed beams and gorgeous. Proper ceiling fan, not an occilator on a table (which works fine, but still). It was a very short walk from the Aubusson station and the tapestry museum. Oh, and the brunch they now offer (i was informed that it is new), they have everything from quiche to breads, croissants, coddled eggs, tarts that are out of this world. Also, we got a bit of a show. They bring in goats to manicure the lawns, such as they are. The goats paraded by our table and were adorable. I mean, i know goats csn get unrully, but these little suckers were focused on getting to their meal. I love them! Basically, just stay here."

A fab holiday

"We stayed as a group of 16 and had a fabulous week at La Grange. The kids loved the pool, the woods, the cinema room when it was cloudy, and the swing was a big hit. The adults loved the bbq and outdoor seating for dinner and sundowners. The kitchen was really well equipped. There was so much space and the play room / games room had toys and games for all ages. Communication was fab and they helped us with some recommendations of places to go as well. A fab week. "

"A lovely rural location very quiet and charming hosts. A car is essential and there is a nearby lake Saint-Pardoux with numerous activities. Late check-in at 6.00pm made the first day challenging. Hosts Louise and James were fantastic and very helpful."
