The building has great staff and amenities but the exceptional professionalism, communication skills and friendliness of the unit manager Mel made our stay a fantastic experience. The room was nice enough but a bit shabby and not overly clean. The communication from the management team was excellent and Mel was very accommodating. We didn’t really research the area and wish we had as it wasn’t the best, when you can rent rooms by the hour around the corner that gives you a pretty good indication! Overall experience was ok but I wouldn’t stay again.

It’s walking distance from Robinson’s Mall/Center which was is a big plus for me and the future wifey. Also, customer service as well as security were very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future.

Overall, I had a good experience during my stay at Malate Bayview Hotel. The living room and bedroom areas were very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay comfortable. A special mention to Mel, who was very responsive and helpful throughout – great customer service! However, the bathroom could use some improvement. It was a bit slippery and not as clean as the rest of the unit. Addressing this would definitely enhance the overall experience. Still, I appreciated the hospitality and the cleanliness of the main areas. With a few adjustments, it could be even better.

The property is ocean-facing with a stunning view of Manila Bay. The unit itself was beautiful, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was Mel, the local host. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for me and my group, and her kindness really stood out. The only small challenge was parking—there’s just one space for all the units on a first-come, first-served basis, which wasn’t clearly noted. Even then, Mel stepped in right away and went the extra mile to help my coworkers secure street parking. Thanks to her, everything worked out smoothly!
