My recent stay at I'M hotel in Makati was far from satisfactory. This establishment, located in the red light district, failed to live up to basic standards of comfort and convenience. Upon arrival, I encountered a disorganized lobby with insufficient staff to handle the check-in process efficiently. Despite there being five staff members present, only one or two seemed capable of managing guest arrivals, resulting in an excessively long wait of 45 minutes just to get checked in. The hotel's location proved to be highly inconvenient, situated in an area perpetually congested with traffic. Accessing the hotel by vehicle was a nightmare, with narrow lanes and constant gridlock making arrival and departure a frustrating experience. The atmosphere within and around the hotel was equally disconcerting. The presence of individuals engaged in illicit activities was palpable, contributing to an uncomfortable and unsafe environment for guests. This unsavory element, combined with the incessant noise from the street, detracted significantly from any semblance of relaxation or enjoyment. While the room itself was clean, it lacked the amenities and comfort expected from a hotel of this caliber. The overall experience left much to be desired, and I would caution against choosing I'M hotel for accommodation in Makati. In conclusion, my stay at I'M hotel was marred by inefficiency, inconvenience, and an unsettling atmosphere. I recommend exploring alternative options .

This was the first time staying at this hotel, I enjoyed the more modern atmosphere but the air conditioning in the room would turn off at the same time every night allowing the room temperature to rise to an uncomfortable temperature, trying to adjust the air conditioner wasn’t possible due to being locked with a password, the mini bar fridge didn’t keep drinks cold on it’s lowest setting, the front desk staff were very slow but always helpful when needed. For the price of the accommodation you would expect a slightly more attentive service and classier room

Rooms smelled terrible, switched to a new one, they sprayed air freshener from the elevator to the new room and when it wore off the same strong smell. They had to fix the air conditioning so it would work. Went for breakfast, poor service and expensive, out of food and a lot of people were coming in to eat. I won’t stay there ever again!!!!

This is a nice hotel in an excellent location. Easy access to lots of shopping, dining and several other options. The big let down though was service. You can’t even dial the front desk from the room. It does not even connect let alone people answering. I wanted a bathrobe and there was no way to get is besides going down to the front desk as asking for it. However I was at the antidote and one of the staff there took it upon himself to ensure that I got what I needed. Even at check in there were multiple lines however some of them were manned by trainees and it took over 30mins for me to get checked in!! She kept saying the system as slow and not loading etc. mind you it’s not even that there were long lines. There are bar codes for you to order room service but no one tells you that you can call antidote directly and get access to the expanded menu of all that they have for in room dining.

Very inconvenient due to fire alarm around 3:30 am , was only informed when we reached ground floor and learned it was a false alarm; we came all the way from 21st floor using fire exit stairs. They should have a loud speaker for announcement in the building.

The rooms at this hotel were excellent, spacious, clean, wonderful shower and bath. Absolutely loved the rooms. Lots of other details brought the overall score down though. Including, wifi that was non existent, certainly not good to use for work. And poor 4G coverage making it hard to use your phone to tether instead. The check in counter staff were slow and inept. Also this hotel is still one of those crazy ones that charges you a deposit per night upfront rather than just taking a credit card swipe. They also charge unreasonable 'gotcha' fees - including 200 peso for a face towel with makeup stains on it. Never heard of bleach before??? And they floor code each keycard so if you're staying with family who gets put on another floor, it's a pain. Finally, they don't bother to tell you that guests can use the spa relaxation lounge completely free of charge any time!

If you want a hot shower find another hotel. They purposely keep the water temp super low to save money. And they won’t change it. I asked on many occasions. Otherwise, it’s a good hotel but not a 5 star property. It’s 3-4 stars

Great hotel in heart of city
It was a great few dyas there and i thoroughly enjoyed it.. the pool is massive enough that you don't interfere with other groups, gym is pretty decent and beds and rooms comfortable..a great stay ruined slightly by incompetent housekeeper who ripped bedsheet then hotel wanted to charge me for it.. so just make sure you do not stain sheets and bedding and check everything before you leave in case of getting charged..

It was the worse stay ever, i got charged an additional $4000 peso for bringing two gest to my room after 10pm just to have a drink and leave like 1h later. And if i bring more guests over i have to pay $2000 each every time.... its outrageous and high way robbery I will never stay there again and i will warn all my business friends that are always there.

I asked I'M Hotel to assist with my credit but they couldn't since there is no relationship between Hotel.com and Hotel Provided incorrect information on Airline Terminal.

There was a big steel frame around the upper floor rooms thus blocking the city view. The rooms look different than in the picture, making them look nicer than what the room really is. They require a 6,000 pesos security fee upon arrival, which is “refundable”. Be careful in eating durian fruit inside building or else you will be fined 10,000 pesos. Just to be safe, i wouldnt recommend eating food in the hotel room and be careful in staining the bed sheets, your security deposite can go goodbye.
