This property was wonderful. They have everything you could need from kitchen essentials to lawn chairs for the park. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Manhattan, KS!
The place was very clean and well stocked, better than any other VRBO we have rented. The host was very responsive to questions, and the location across from City Park was perfect for walking. It is just over 1/2 mile to the shops on Poyntz Ave.
The property was incredible!! Very clean, comfortable bed very nicely decorated!! Quiet place to relax!! Will definitely stay again or in any of the owners other properties!!
Loved our time in Manhattan for New Year’s Eve with family. Close enough to walk to Aggieville Apple drop and when I forgot my makeup bag, Mary Ellen and her cleaning staff made sure I had it before leaving town! Will definitely stay here again.
Traveled to Manhattan to visit our daughter and stayed at the Thompson House. The property was perfect!! Very clean, centrally located, and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back.
We needed a nice place to stay that gave us more space than typical hotel rooms. This was a great option that we found. Good location and easy parking too.
The property was very clean and the check in/out process and communication with the owner was very smooth. The location was near many shops and restaurants as well as being across the street from a nice park for morning walks. I would definitely recommend it and we will be back again when visiting Manhattan.
The place looked exactly like the pictures online. Once inside, literally all you might need was there, from linens, to cooking utensils, to paper products, to restaurant suggestions, etc. This owner thought of everything! We will definitely stay here again.
One of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed in. Everything in the home is thoughtfully prepared for travelers to have a relaxing stay. And then I read what the owners did to renovate the building. Simply incredible! Bookmark this place for your next visit to K-state, you won’t be disappointed!
Perfect place! Beautifully done! Super comfortable! Super clean! Extremely fast responses to our requests to stay an extra day and questions! Walkable easily to campus, Aggieville, and downtown! We loved it and hope to come back soon!
It’s been years since we’ve been back to Manhattan and we had a great time! The house was clean, the location was excellent and everything was painless. It might be worth noting that next door is the funeral home and currently there is an incinerator on a trailer in the parking lot, which might be disconcerting for some, specifically my young children who had lots of question about it. (No fault to the house, just something to keep in mind with this location)
