"Kelly is a great host. This location is so peaceful and relaxing. Loved watching the sunsets on the boat. Very spacious for 2 people. There are also kayaks if you’re adventurous "

"The problem began before we arrived with very poor communication. Responses to inquiries sounded suspiciously like AI. We were not given check-in details until a couple of hours before arrival, so that, combined with the AI sounding correspondence, we feared that we had been scammed. We were not told how to find the apartment in the building, or what number it was. It required an exasperated call after a long frustrating day of travel to be able to enter our rental.The apartment is adequate, but so cheaply furnished as to provide little in the way of comfort. The bathroom door does not close. The light in the kitchen does not work. The automatic door lock did not function and we spent 4 days unable to securely lock our door whether we were in the apartment or not. No action was taken to address this until the 5th day, and by then we had removed the batteries from the lock so it could be locked with the key.The kitchen light was never repaired.There is no kitchen table for eating meals.The bed is very poor.The bathroom door is a sliding barn-door type and the track is so cheap that it does not close. I repeat, the bathroom door does not close.The apartment is described as "walk the beach". Not true. You can walk to the water at a nearby park, but it is not a beach.A hairdryer was listed as an amenity, so we did not bring one. There was none. We were told one was coming but it never did.We made the best of our time there, but we won't be returning."

"Everything was new, which was a plus, coffee maker was great, took awhile to figure the how the stove top worked and had some problems with the front door opening (probably the deadbolt receptacle needs to adjusted) but the host help straighten things out, so not a deal breaker, communication was very good. Probably would be a good idea to provide instructions on the stovetop, door issues and how the TV works, which was not user friendly to us anyhow. As a place to stay very clean and modern, highly recommended. Only downside is there is no where to sit outside directly, the front door faces a parking lot, you could sit outside if you go around the adjacent Pizza Restaurant, but not really practical from the apartment. Pizza Restaurant adjacent is fine, doesn't really affect the apartment, there also a Cuban Restaurant nearby that serves pretty food at reasonable prices, although the language barrier can be a problem. Highly recommended a great place to stay !!!"
