I am incredibly grateful that I was able to visit my son in L.A. without having to spend an insane amount of money for a hotel. My room had all the amenities that I needed: bed, bathroom, closet, TV and fridge. The only minor complaint that I have is that there was a musty smell to the room that I was able to live with and there were about 3 or 4 tiny little flying bugs that i would guess got in thru the cracks around the air conditioning 5c

The Williams was somewhat old an tired. While you enter into a lively first floor, the upper floors where the hotel rooms are located give off a concrete jungle kind of prison vibe. Concrete floors absent carpeting and a white paint scheme showing lots of bumps and marks throughout did not improve what was already an austere decor. Carpeting in rooms and hallways would help. There was a significant lack of outlets for charging electronics. The room was a decent size for Midtown Manhattan, but was completely devoid of warmth or charm.
