"3 Pickerels is tucked away in the quiet countryside. We arrived in the car park and walked through the main front door and found ourselves in the bar. It was next day we realised check-in was round the other side of the building, the sign wasn't obvious to us. We received a warm welcome from staff and were shown to our room. We were in Room 3 on the first floor; it's a lovely room, very airy and bright, overlooking the river somewhat. It also has a 'balcony'...basically French doors with a glass...
"The staff were really friendly and the room was really well appointed and clean. The breakfast was good too. The only drawback with this property is that the rooms are upstairs in a SUPER busy pub. There was a disco downstairs until 2am which there was no escaping from. Thankfully we were out at an event until late so we didn’t have to put up with it for too long and it was quiet once everyone had left."
