Nice anniversary get away
We had a nice quiet weekend away. Even though it rained a lot, we were able to bike ride and walk along the lake. The cottage was immaculate. Would definitely come back.

Great Cottage!!
We highly recommend this cute cottage! It was perfect for our wedding weekend stay! The owners were very helpful & responsive, we found the property exactly how it was described, the bikes were awesome as we rode thru town & along the water front, and the list goes on!! We will be back!

Perfect in everyway
Location was easy to locate, surrounding area beautiful. Cottage was very clean and had all we needed for our stay. Perfect for a get-away from it all stay. Will definitely stay again when traveling to the area. If you need a break from the world this cottage is what you need.

Landing at Bayou Castine
Clean, modern,full-sized, raised, stand-alone house shrouded trees dripping with moss. Across the Avenue Bayou Castine flows into Lake Ponchartrain. Sitting on the deck with a coffee, you can ghost-write scenes for James Lee Burke. I hesitate posting a rave for a place I’d like to keep as my little secret.

My husband and I took our first trip to Mandeville and we're so happy we chose to stay at Harbor Landing Cottage! The location was perfect and only a short bike ride to the beautiful lakefront park which we enjoyed each evening at sunset. The owner provided excellent customer service and the property was very clean. We definitely recommend staying here!

Another Wonderful Stay!
This little cottage is in such a wonderful location in Mandeville. My second time here was just as nice as the first! The house was super well equipped and comfortable and my favorite thing is the nearby walks along the lake. Thanks to Wendy and Peggy for being such great hosts!

Cute Little Cottage
My husband and I just had a quick getaway and decided to stay at this cottage again. The location is very convenient, and it is easy to get to. We enjoy the resturants on the lakefront and walking and riding our bikes.

Wonderful weekend of biking and shopping on Girod Street
The property was just as pictured, clean and charming. We stayed just a few weeks before Christmas and we were able to ride our bikes to Girod Street for the weekend market...so much to see. The only complaint I could have is that the bathroom doesn't have a vent...the bathroom is directly connected to the living room so there was no sense of privacy. That really wasn't too big of a deal, it was just the two of use staying and we just increased the volume on the TV. Wonderful stay!

Great Location!
This home was just what we needed to visit with family on the North Shore. We have family in Mandeville and in Covington. We loved the fact we could walk to the lake and watch the boats. It was very relaxing. It was very clean and the king size bed is very comfortable. We will be back next time we visit family.

We have years of experience in renting vacation houses and this house met and exceeded our expectations! Very comfortable bed and bedding, nice kitchen with coffee maker, delightful porch for morning coffee and inviting living room. The washer & dryer were a bonus as this was a 3 day stay on a longer road trip. Old Mandeville is a charming neighborhood for walking, shopping and dining.

Great Location
The cleanliness of property left a lot to be desired. We have been doing vrbo for many years and the place was not up to the standards we are accustomed to. The location was great, but we would look elsewhere in the future. The property was tired, towels were old and frayed on edges, bed was not very comfortable, could use a better mattress. This place could definitely use some updating.

The combination of the location and the bikes made for a nice weekend. We didn't get access instructions until 30 minutes before check-in and that was a bit nerve-racking. But once we had those, everything was great!

Simply Wonderful!
My Mandeville stay was so enjoyable in Wendy's lovely cottage. The location is just superb... walks by the lake and rides on the trails. Everything I needed was provided for a comfortable visit. The front porch is extra special for morning coffee or just relaxing in the trees! Wendy and Peggy were super communicative and responsive. Much appreciated! I very much look forward to my next stay at Harbor Landing Cottage.

This place was perfect for our little family of 4. Very clean and kept up! Had everything we needed to cook at the house and hang out. Right on the bike trail and close to a lot of great restaurants. The kids enjoyed fishing and running around the baseball field next door. We will definitely go back and highly recommend this property! Owners were very nice and easy to get in touch with as well!

We loved our stay in the cottage. The location was perfect for us — on the bike trail, around the corner from the splash pad/playground/beach, near our family. The place was perfectly clean, surrounded by huge trees and filled with natural light. The closet was even large enough to fit the pack n play for our youngest. We used the king bed and sleeper sofa as well. All great. We hope to stay again!

Great stay close to the Tammany Trace!
We really enjoyed our stay at Harbor Landing over the July 4th holiday. The house is in a great convenient location, safe with a relaxed vibe. The bike path in front of the house connects to the Tammany Trace, and we enjoyed riding the Trace and also along the waterfront, which is about a block from the house. We rode to many nearby restaurants (all of which were amazing), and also enjoyed the July 4th fireworks show over the lake. We would definitely stay again!

This cottage was perfect for our stay! Roomy and has a great deck outside for additional hang out space. The host has gone above and beyond with the amenities and we lacked absolutely nothing! Location was spot on, a one minute walk to the lake. We fell in love with Mandeville and will definitely return!

Great cottage by the lake
We had an amazing stay at this house! Our family is moving from Mandeville to California and we stayed here for our last couple nights in town. It was the perfect size, comfortable, and in the best location. We could walk to the playground/splash pad, beach, and lakefront. So much fun! I would totally recommend staying here!

The area is such a laid back hipster vibe. Bikes, awesome restaurants, right by the water. You couldn't ask for more. We ate at the Lakefront restaurant and it was killer...try the soft shell crab! Very posh area! I've been going to Mandiville to visit family for 25 years and never knew what I was missing! But now that I know I will definitely be going every time I'm down there! Very relaxing and just what I needed at the time! Nice cottage, perfect for my husband and i.

Perfect for a weekend getaway
If I could give this property more than 5 stars, I would. The location was great (it is next to a small ball field that had a tournament but the games finished up at a reasonable hour and it caused us no problems). We were able to walk or bike to many restraunts and the farmer's market, which was easily one of the best ones I have ever been to. The property was clean and well stocked. We are already looking at our schedules to plan another weekend here.
