Old with musty smell
Hotel was renovating, only 17 rooms are open. Available rooms are old with musty smell. Staff are nice, friendly. Too expensive for this type of accommodation.

The Exploration of the City of Cebu is an eye open
The ladies at the front desk and the security personnels are Very helpful in giving direction to the guest of the hotel.

The hotel staff was helpful,,,the water in the shower was only a hair above being cold. The worst breakfast in a hotel I've ever had. The room itself was ok for the money considering we only needed one night. Would like to have had a face cloth to use in the shower. The breakfast was really bad,,the best part was a couple pieces of toast.

RATS !!...with your buffet breakfast!!
Before booking this hotel consider if you don't mind sharing your breakfast buffet with RATS!.After watching a small cockroach crawling across my dining table at breakfast it kinda spoilt my dining experience on the first morning,but this was nothing compared to the horrors of the next morning. To be honest I was already annoyed by the lack of service regarding the wifi.We arrived at 1.30pm on the 13th December 2018,initially we got checked in fast and the room although dark with no real view,it was spacious and clean.I tried to connect to wifi,login denied.I tried a few more times,no luck.So I went to reception,the yoing lady behind desk gave me another printed login password.I tried it,nothing.I thought maybe it was my devise.Another guest was also having problems.The receptionist said she would reboot router.6 hours later after 50 attempts I gave up ,phoned reception again.She did not really offer any apology except saying she would reboot again.I finally got online 6.30 am next day! So,back to breakfast,first morning we went at 6.30am but already most things on offer were already cold,if only someone could invent something to put under the food container,you know ,like a candle.......so instead I ordered an omelette, I thought atleast that would be warm..? So 2nd morning whilst eating we saw 2 large rats run out a whole,I told staff but they didn't seem too concerned. Apon checkout I was told..."write what you like on Hotels.com review"by supervisor!

I was happy with the hotel overall but displeased that they don't serve American food I been to Cebu and other countries quite a lot of times its the first time I ever stayed at hotel that does not serve American food. other than that the hotel was excellent.

The staff service is the only thing that we like. The hotel is hot if you’re not inside you’re room. They issued only one key and it’s also use to power up everything in your room , if you leave your room you need to bring your key. When you return It’s crazy hot inside your room. The water supply for shower is low that makes impossible to take quick shower. The breakfast buffet in my opinion is terrible. The hotel amenities absolutely nothing/terrible. Looks like food being warmed up over and over ever day. If you’re just needing a place to stayand sleep for you’re vacation this will do. But if you like comfortable stay and pleasing invironment there are plenty of other nice hotels here in Cebu that my husband and I found out during our tour here. The room rates is just the same but way nicer than Orchard. One more thing, this hotel i think is highly occupied by foriegn students. I will not recommend this hotel to any of my family or friends. If you book you’re own package trip choose you’re hotel carefully. I guess I didn’t and it’s not cheap either.

Hi Mam, Thank you for the review. We acknowledge your concerns. As for the key card concern, you can request a spare card from our Front Office. With regards to the water supply, we had problems for a few days during your stay but is already resolved. As for the breakfast, we will address you concern to our concessionaire but perhaps the food you mentioned were not part of the regular menu but was served for those who want to avail it. Those food items (Korean menus) are being served the whole day since they hava a daily korean buffet for lunch and dinner. Again, thank you for the feedback. Rest assured, we will take note of your concerns and see what we can do to improve it.

Adequate for a cheap 1 night stay
Adequate for 1 night and the location was convenient, however traffic on the main road is very bad so not as convenient as expected. The staff were friendly and the room was large but had dated decor. The view from the window was largely blocked off. Very limited breakfast, only a few Filipino options to pick from (as well as rice of course) although to be fair what was available was quite nice.

Suprisingly Pleasant Stay
We stayed in the hotel because it was near the location where our Summer Party will be. The hotel was able to accommodate our early check-in request. Rooms were spacious and had good lighting. Bedding's were also very comfortable and had a lot of pillows. A very good hotel to stay at in Mandaue City.

Where is the water?
We had a room with a window facing to a concrete wall and the water was off, they fixed it but was cut off again and we had only cold water.The staff was nice a the reception but the cleaner were very loud in the morning. Breakfast average.

Very nice for the price.
Even though the hotel was located on a busy street. The staff was very courteous and responsive to our needs. J Mall was within walking distance from the hotel. We were very pleased with our stay and we will book again on our next trip.

Very bad internet connection
The Orchard Cebu Hotel & Suites I booked and paid for my stay supposedly last August 10-12, 2016. I arrived at the hotel around 17:00 o'clock and checked out at around 21:00 for the reason that the services provided by the hotel was poor. First, there was no internet connection inside my room. Even if I went to the lobby to possibly get a connection, the internet was very poor. Secondly, there was no manual of operation for the usage of the television and cable TV. The staff was not helpful at all. Therefore, I want to be refunded of the payment I paid. I hope to receive the refund immediately. Thank you.

i was quite disappointed when i arrived at the hotel because i have no parking space since it only has a very limited parking space. they really should improve on providing additional parking space to hotel guests, the staff and the guard were of no help either.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. All our windows are permanently locked for security reasons unless the lock was damaged. We will replace if needed. Also, all rooms have an electronic safety box located inside the clothing cabinet in the room with instructions on how to use it. In case the valuables do not fit the safe, our Front Office can safe keep it for you.

I was practically hotel hopping in Cebu which means I would know the difference right away I f I had a better experience or not because of the point of comparison. I can say, the Orchard was the least friendly one. I am considered a local and they don't seem to treat you fairly as they would to foreigners. I stayed in Be, Jpark, Richmond and the staff is far more accommodating and polite to us and very genuine to let us feel that they are happy to see us there. I hope the front desk officer smiles more and should constantly let you know what they are working on while you are waiting to be checked in.

The TV of the room close to ours is so loud and hence can't sleep well as their TV is on all night. For hotel in the province, ( not in Manila or Makati) the rate is a bit more than what the hotel provides.

my girlfriend works in Manduae and this is the closest nice hotel for her to visit. simple 10 minute taxi ride for her to work in the morning. also close to ferry terminal. staff was very nice.

The room was ok. Nothing fancy but usable. The beds were very very hard, no give at all when sitting or laying down. The shower was great but there was a sewer problem. The breakfast selection was good. The food was great. Liked the location. 2 blocks from SM mall and 10 minutes from airport. The cable was very minimal. Service very good.
