"I was really disappointed! The pool and room jacuzzi was closed and there was no mention of this, on the website. It was spring time and the weather was around 80 degrees. Secondly, there were chiggers all over the nightstands AND in our bed. We counted, and killed, above 40 of them. It was so bad that we had to decide to either go buy bug spray OR go home (without a refund). The bug spray seemed to help but the peaceful sleep was destroyed."

"The property has everything you need to feel at home. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and linens were plentiful. The location to shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities is very convenient. I loved my parking spot! "

"Breakfast is a typical continental breakfast. It was good. The bar is great for drinks and a quick bite if you don't want to go out."

"We had an incredibly peaceful stay with so many little touches everywhere. From the cozy furnishings to a fully prepared fire pit to decently fast wifi, we kept having little moments of delight throughout our stay. The owners were quick to respond to our questions, and the location was perfect. We hope to stay again sometime. If we had any critiques it would be the need for an insurance payment up front, but it makes sense. The property was well taken care of, and it helps ensure that the place stays nice in the future. "This place is wonderful for two people if you want to stay inside or be gone the whole time.You can no longer enjoy the front porch or sitting area outside because someone has built an ugly white and gray house 50 yards away .The cut all of the trees around this cabin down to make way for this to happen . "
