Unexpected in a good way. Cabin was very comfortable, clean, and large. A great place for free spirited travellers to get away. The best part was the wonderful hospitality from the owner. I would gladly return to the Possum Lodge.

Pictures do not do the cabin justice. It’s a real sun trap with a great outdoor area. Extremely comfortable and cosy and only 5 minutes walk to the Church Bistro. Everything you need to be fully self catering.

We really enjoyed our stay here but the layout is definitely different. It is not for people with mobility issues but otherwise it is great. Lake Manapouri is stunningly beautiful, and Fiordland is my favourite place in the world. Manapouri village is a lovely picturesque gateway to all that magic. However, there is very little in the village itself.
