Incredible stay at this wonderful hotel. Room was great, air conditioning was very cold and plenty of hot water. Very safe and walkable distance to favorite restaurants and entertainment. The front desk staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the areas best attractions. My wife and I felt very safe. Breakfast was delicious. Housekeeping was very attentive to one’s needs.

From the street this property is unassuming as most in the town are, but the property is anything but. There rooms are great sizes with excellent aircon. Built in early 2000’s in replica old style as the area is, Spanish influenced. Two great pools inside so room to escape the heat with lots of shade. Staff very nice and helpful. Able to smoke outside the rooms, excellent breakfast too with lots of coffee. Walk to all the major places and plenty of cheap food options nearby, atm and supermarket 50m walk. On-site car park too. Can’t wait to return.

Great spot right off the main square. Everyone is very friendly. Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. It’s very quiet. There’s a nice little pool to escape the afternoon heat. Only negative comment is the lighting in the room is a bit dismal. But overall, a great spot!

A Gem in Granada
The customer service in this hotel is outstanding. The staff go above and beyond to make it a great stay. Excellent location. All you need for breakfast, good choice. 2 great pools. Comfortable bed, we slept well. Good housekeeping everyday, the rooms were spotless. Beautiful building and architecture. Wished we had stayed longer.

The hotel clean and in excellent area. Me issue was with the room location for two nights. Checked in and laid down to rest and was suddenly itching all over. At first thought mites or bedbugs. Then I realized the room had many mosquitoes. Went to report to front desk who.knew immediately what was wrong and they thankfully sprayed the room. When I returned, I noticed in the sitting areas outside of the room the maids had set up their carts and were seperating laudry which I thought odd. It was as if entrying your room, in a not inexpensive hotel, through a maid's closet. The wifi in the room did not work. I had to go to the small adjacent pool area to use WiFi which also had mosquitoes unfortunately. Before 6 am was awakened to.cleaning staff bagging 5 or 6 huge bags of laundry in front of my room and then running up and down the tile staircase in front of the room. Again discussed with front desk On that full day, maids cart and 3 maids again outside my room bagging, eating, and on cell phones outside the room. I walk with a cane and difficult to navigate but again like being in storage closet WiFi still did not work. Discussed with front desk. Showed him internet failure and scene in front of room. Said maybe he could move me. But as I was leaving the next morning and did not want to move myself, there is no porter service, stayed in room Thankful was not awakened at 5 30 am again

Dear Mrs Laura, thank you for your input, we want you to know that all your advise we will take into consideration, starting with the cleaning personal outside the rooms, we share your opinion and will rectify right away with or staff. Allow me to clarify 3 points ( cleaning time, WiFi and mosquitoes). Our cleaning staff does not come at 6am , we believe maybe an early bird guest may have done some noise but we are not sure , what we are sure is that our maids come in and start cleaning the rooms from 8am until 2pm. We do offer WiFi in common areas only, as you know Colonial Buildings that characterize the city of Granada ( the oldest city in the Americas) are hard concrete walls so WiFi will not be inside the rooms, but we invite our guests to be around the pools areas and sitting areas all around the hotel. Regarding the mosquitoes, as you mentioned we keep our hotel clean and well maintained , but we are in a tropical country ... so unfortunately we do have mosquitoes, trust us if there was a way to eliminate them for good we will be the first ones to do so! We always have mosquito spray available and we recommend travelers to have the repellents when traveling and doing tours. We had some hick ups on road and couldnt make to hotel .hitel was very nice and understanding and counceled our reservation without charging us at all any fees. It's got a good potential but not taken care of
It's got a good potential but not taken care of. No restaurants or bars were open except for breakfast time when one was open but with one single item for breakfast.Our room was super dusty or mouldy and it was hard to breath. The booking said that we have a free parking but we only got it on the 1st day as the 2nd day the entire parking was taken away as the hotel was renting it from a nearby property.

A quiet oasis in downtown Granada
A beautiful, classic colonial style hotel with two swimming pools. The pools were well maintained and the water crystal clear and refreshing. The hotel is in an excellent location –across from the plaza. Great restaurants and the cathedral and other landmarks are easily accessible by foot The rooms were large, bed comfy and shower extraordinary strong and hot. The breakfast was delicious and sufficient with refill coffee available continuously. Receptionist speaks English and able to give excellent tips on restaurants, tours and shuttle buses. The great price made it even sweeter.

True Latin American colonial style w/ internal patios. Nicely decorated w/ local Nica art, nice! Breakfast was included w/ our rate and it was good, great way to start the day. Not as advertised.
Hotel did not have a restaurant as stated nor did they have any pool side bars. I had to walk a block to get a soda. Nice place but it makes claims that it doesn’t live up too.

Your reservation had included continental breakfast which is what was served. We do apologize for the swim up bar being closed, as you know due to the situation in our country we temporarily closed the bar. We have corrected this detail on the hotel page so there are no more misleads, but we hope to very soon open back up again now that tourism is picking up and returning to normality!
