It's quite a nice hotel compared to hotels in Indonesia in general, no doubt about it. Many westerners might find it less nice than what they prefer or are used to, but it is indeed one of the best hotels in the city, and considering the relatively low per-night price, it was quite comfortable.

Lots of local and chain food options close by. There is a mall within walking distance. The facilities were clean but in need of some touch up. Rusted shower and sinks. Peeling paint and flooring. But the staff are good and take pride in service. I enjoyed interacting with them.

GO CARTS to drive at a hotel?!

THIS was an especially fun hotel because we were able to walk ALMOST all the way around it after a HUGE dinner which was a RAMADAN special of all you can eat! for TEN bucks! all the local foods so you could taste them and know what you were ordering next time at a redstaurant. food dishes were names in the buffet! they also had some 4 wheelers you could ride in the ajacent lot and also some cool electric go karts for $3.00 for 15 minutes and they were really FAST! crazy for electric scooters, and the guys were so nice that tended the go carts and let us take a spin around for free to make sure we would fit on them, and we were amazed that the go carts were adjustable because we are fat americans. gotta go to the buffet now!

The room was very nice. Seems to have been recently cleaned or repainted. Breakfast could have been better- plates and glasses ran out quickly and while they were trying to refresh them during service, they were only bringing out 5 or 6 at a time. Not enough to fulfill the needs of all those people.

The staff that I met were all courteous and helpful. But the hotel itself was a disappointment due to its poor state of maintenance, noise and room cleanliness. The bedroom floor seems only swept but not mopped and left bare feet dirty and gritty. Edges of the floors and walls all had dirt and fluff. Shower and toilet doors would not close and lock due to misaligned handles and locks that were held on by blobs of silicon. Taps, shower rose and handles were aged with build up of calcification. The wall mirror was old and had lost its silver backing In places. Towels were dingy and age stained but they did smell fresh. The large bed was comfortable and restful. Water was hot and the air conditioning did work well. There was no fridge in the bedroom. The included breakfast was simple Indonesian food but crockery often showed lack of proper washing. The hotel is suitably located overlooking the harbour and within a minute or two walk to a selection of restaurants and street cafes. Nearby is a large department store complex that has cheap prices but also cheaper quality products. About 800 metres walk away is a much larger and much more modern department store complex with a variety of high quality stores and restaurants. Taxis were unavailable in the area so be prepared to walk in the heat. The pool area at the hotel was immediately joined to the hotel’s dining room and terrace and offered no privacy whatsoever. I’ll stay in a different hotel next time I’m in the area.

Quite a small hotel near Megamas port

Standard twin bed room is very small with a weird design of bathroom. I would recommend this room for one person, but unfortunately it wasn't spacious enough for two. The room was lacking ammenities such as hair dryer and clothes cabinet / rack. Nevertheless, the hotel has a very very good view of the sea from the corridor. You can get a beautiful sunset scenery from one side of the window and if you're lucky, sunrise on the opposite side. They have a very small swimming pool and i had problems with my room key card twice. However, there are some nice restaurants, cafes, fast food chains, shopping center, and convenience stores nearby which makes this hotel a perfect place for travellers. I would strongly recommend this hotel to people who will only need a place to sleep and take a shower and would not stay in the room for too long, but for a more comfortable option i suggest you book for better rooms in this hotel. Who knows maybe those rooms have better facilities compared to the standard ones?

A comfortable hotel with poor services

The hotel is in an excellent location facing the sea and next to the shopd. The rate is not expensive but the service is disappointing. We arrived at 1am 17 Oct and we booked from 16/10. The receptionist gave us one key only which did not open the room's door. The bell boy opened the room using the master key. When we asked him to get the right key he said we should go down to receptionist tomorrow. We asked for the replacement of the bed cover but no response. The toilet paper run out in the morning when we came in the afternoon they didn't put a new one. When I asked for the second key they said the have only one set to provide.

Convenient modern hotel with great views

Great view of sea and city from my 10th floor room. Great sea view and sunset from the corridors and the 3rd floor pool/ breakfast restaurant too. Room not big but comfy enough and meets all basic needs. Nice "breakfast with a view". Easy to get taxis. Near city center and the port (5mn by taxi). There's a bad smell from the bathroom plumbing most of the time though. Wifi can be quite slow.

Secara keseluruhan baik ,hanya satu input yg saya mau sampaikan yaitu sprei tempat tidur tdk diganti selama saya menginap dari tgl 14/9 sampai tgl 17/9 ini sy ketahui krn ada noda kecil dari sprei itu sehingga saya bisa mengetahui bhw sprei ini tdk diganti krn sampai saya pulang noda kecil itu tetap ada jk tdk diperhatikan kamar setelah dibersihkan semuanya rapi.

Olimme samassa hotellissa toistamiseen. Ensimmäisessä huoneessa toimi internet, tässä ei juurikaan, eli vaihtelua hotellin sisällä yhteydessä todella paljon. Hotelli oli täynnä pääsiäisen vuoksi ja kaikki äänet kuuluivat huoneeseen sisään, myös naapurihuoneista. Palvelu on hidasta, vaikka mukavat nuoret työntekijät varmasti yrittävät parastaan. Sängyt edelleenkin todella miellyttävät.

Uusi hotelli, jossa kaikki vielä uutuuden kiiltävää. Ympäristö hiukan sekainen ja uima-allasosastossa kehitettävää (ei aurinkotuoleja ja vesi hieman sameaa), mutta runsas aamupala ja supermiellyttävä sänky, josta maisema suoraan merelle, korvaa paljon.
