Weekend Stay
Nice place to stay for the Bluesapalooza. Took shuttle there and walked back. Had a Portable AC in bedroom and very roomy.

Great location
Property was clean, Alex was responsive. Some furniture is a bit dated, but what you see on the pictures is what you get. Kitchen was well equipped for your basics, we has clean towels, and 2 sets of bedding sheets. There are extra pillows, and blankets. Location and convenience to the slopes is amazing, pool was about 90+ degrees in April. This property does not have restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, average but 'ok' apartment.
The place is 'ok'. The location is amazing, the apartment needs some work. Says there is a washing machine and dryer in description but its actually a shared laundry on same floor of the hotel. You need to pay for the privilege and they aren't great. I emailed the property manager and made this point, but they completely ignored me. If i was to stay there again, i'd stay via the hotel (resort) rather than an owned apartment. My friend stayed in exactly the same style apartment and it was $1000 cheaper and they made up your room everyday. I was in this place for 2 weeks and because its privately owned there is no cleaning or freshening. The TV's are old so they have 3-4 remotes which is pointlessly confusing. Fridge is so old you need to close the bedroom door when the compressor kicks in.. Super loud and the freezer doesn't work properly. These things could be easily fixed for a few hundred bucks.

Good location by slopes. Unit showing it's age with some wear and tear. BEWARE: there is no in unit WiFi. You have to use the hotel's public wifi, which is totally unreliable. Bedroom TV is for decorative purposes only, unless you want to watch DVD's.

The condo just received brand new carpet throughout on January 19th 2022. The bedroom TV has a Roku, cable and a DVD player. The hotels wifi is capable of streaming services and working remote!

Spacious 1 bedroom, dining area, living room and kitchen. The balcony is spacious to and you have views of the lift. Bathroom is a decent size but the counter was a bit tight for my vanities. Hand and body soap provided as well as a blow drying and curling iron. The best part of this ski in/out property as that you are literally at the foot of the lift. You cannot get closer to a lift than this anywhere.

A very nice property!
This is an excellent little unit in a great facility. Juniper Springs is obviously ideal in the winter... it is not close to much that is going on in the summer. Nevertheless, it was quiet, relaxing and exactly what we needed. A very comfortable bed, the kitchen had everything we really needed, and there was an AC unit in the bedroom, which was very much appreciated since the unit, because of how it is situated, does not get much airflow. That was a great touch for a guy who comes up to Mammoth to escape the heat! Thank you!

Comfortable and so close to the slopes
Staying here was very easy and convenient. We loved being so close to Eagle Lodge and the slopes. Even though we didn’t use the equipment locker, we thought that accessibility was a huge plus. We had everything we needed in the condo....we brought our own towels in case we were going to the hot tub. All was clean and comfortable.

Convenient location to the Eagle lift. Gear Locker a plus. Parking Garage a plus. Top floor (elevator access) a plus. Didn't venture into the pool/fire pit area (CoVid) but saw lots of guests heading that way. Bed comfortable, good linens, Smart TV (NetFlix) a BIG plus. Functional kitchen and bathroom (not top end, but I have seen worse). My only knock is on the cleaning, we had to run the dishwasher: sticky plates (yuck!). Hopefully a one-off issue.

Great place, 2nd time visitors.
We loved staying here for a second time, but please get rid of that weird smell. You get used to it after a day or so but it was the same as last time, not a pleasant smell when you get there.

It was wonderful to arrive at a perfectly manicured condo; clean, attractive, comfortable furniture and bed, fully stocked with supplies, wonderful view, maintenance young man always on time and solved little problems, provided a large fan instead of using the AC, facilities wonderful with a gym and a swimming pool, every 20 minutes the use of a trolley bus instead of driving, coffee shop on weekends. We thoroughly enjoyed the large TV with netflix. We will request to stay next summer. :) Glenn and Elaina McFarland

Summer vacation
This was my 1st time renting with VRBO and it won’t be my last. It was easy and painless. The property was as advertised and we are already talking about going back. The one bedroom suite met our needs and had all the basic amenities. The portable AC in the bedroom was a nice amenity to have as I found out not all the rooms have one. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool. In the evening some families made s’mores around the fire pit. Not knowing the area the location ended up being a great choice. It is close to all the activities we wanted to do. I don’t think we drove more than 30 minutes to hike, horseback ride, SUP, and fish. On our way in we stopped at Convict Lake. During our stay we also visited the Village, June Lake, Lake Mary, Red Rock Creek, Rainbow Falls, and Devils Postpile. The one downside to the trip was losing my diamond hoop earring. We retraced our steps and searched high and low with no luck. It was reported missing at the front desk so if it ever turns up please let me know.

My husband and I stayed here for one night in August. We wish we could have stayed longer. The 5th floor room at Juniper Springs had a beautiful view to watch sunset and sunrise on the balcony. The place was clean, bed was comfy and everything was as described in the post. We were happy with our stay and we hope to be back in winter for another visit.

Fun trip and nice accommodation
With record snow, we wound up purchasing IKON passes, which allowed us to finish up the season. So we came out during my kids spring break for more mountain fun. This condo served our purposes nicely. My youngest son gets tired after a couple of hours...so being close by enables him to come home and rest a bit before going back out with his dad and older brother. Condo was comfortable and had all that we needed. Check in was painless. I also loved getting a latte in the morning from the little store located in the lobby area.

Nice clean condo with view of chair 15 run. Super convenient with rentals in the lobby. Parking garage awesome! Only one complaint... The carpet between hall and bathroom is worn and there are exposed carpet tacks 😳.. All in all a great time! Thank you!

Great location, clean and good management response
Was a little concerned when a new review appeared about the smell of the apartment (after we had already booked) but I can confirm there was no smell and that management had assured us carpets had been cleaned. I wanted to address the issue in this review as sometimes one bad review can ruin a listing. The location was fantastic as it was right next to Eagle Lodge with a great view of the run. My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the stay here and it was more than adequate, clean and extremely convenient. Management was extremely responsive to a faulty thermostat and had it fixed while we were on the slopes. Lockers were convenient for equipment after each day and covered parking was a plus. In fact we did not drive after we arrived and made use of the public transportation system around town. Only downside is that with the 5th floor the waits are a little longer for the elevator during peak times.

Cosy and Comfortable Condo in a Great Location
Our family has visited Mammoth on many an occasion, and we have stayed in numerous areas on the mountain, mostly in ski-in-ski-out or easy mountain access locations. Juniper Springs is a gem and every stay there is always memorable, and this one even more-so, since our condo was just perfect, and the conditions on the mountain were spectacular. Here are a few of the reasons we really enjoyed the condo and facilities: - Direct mountain views - Ski-run, Ski-lift and line views - Easy locker access - Easy access from condo to the slopes - Great accessible indoor parking - Easy access from condo to the slopes - Pool and Jacuzzies - TV with Apps (Netflix etc) - Well maintained, well appointed & clean We will be back again soon enough and hope to stay here again!!

Beware of the Smell
This property had the electronics as described. My son loved watching TV each evening after skiing. It was probably a really great unit and could be again. It needs some TLC. My husband and I couldn't get past the smell. It assaults you when you walk in the door. I suspect it's from the well worn carpet even in the entryway. We've stayed in 4 other units at Juniper Springs, so we know how great it can be. This was really terrible. We opened the windows in 20 degree weather trying to air out the smell. For the price, I would recommend something else.

Wake up and ski out the door.
You can't beat this location, no parking, no shuttle. Just walk out and ski. Eagle lodge isn't too crowded so it's the best. The room is clean and had every thing we needed. Also nice was the jacuzzi and lockers.

Fantastic property and thoughtful owners
My husband and I have stayed at many rental properties over the years in Mammoth and this was absolutely the best. The location was perfect ski-in/ski-out. The unit itself was a good size for a 1bed/1bath and had all of the amenities needed. We cook a lot and normally end up bringing pots, pans, cookware, etc., but that was not needed here. The owners were also very thoughtful in providing a welcome basket. That was an unexpected, kind surprise. We hope to stay at this property again! Jillian & Paul

Great price for a great place
Very well maintained, clean, and well appointed. The owners provide all the essential infomation you need for your stay in a binder on the kitchen countertop. There were 3 of us for our ski trip, and I had to sleep on the foldout sofa - surprisingly comfortable. The unit overlooks the Eagle Lodge and lift area, and you have a view of people coming down the last little bit of the slope before the lift line. The condo does tend to get a little warm - we didn't even turn on the heat and we were a bit too warm. Just open the balcony door a bit and you'll be comfortable.

Condo was comfortable and well appointed with all needed goods. Beds were comfortable and the unit has nice views of Eagle lift and lounge. The stay was generally quiet with the exception of Saturday night (it was Spring Break) when a few revelers made some noise. We would stay here again:

Nice and Convenient...
The Condo was well appointed and had almost everything needed to stay almost a week. Right next to Eagle Lodge, makes it nice to get on and off the slopes and return for lunch (the lodge food prices are very high). Includes the use of a designated locker for nightly storage of ski equipment. Includes parking inside the resort's parking garage. Has a nice sized balcony, though a little cool to use during our stay. The only downside to this unit, and I understand it is the same with most units in the resort from conversations with other guests, is the noise that the refrigerator and microwave make. They are a little on the noisy side... close the bedroom door or earplugs at night :) We liked the unit and have already booked another stay at this unit for next month, ski and business.

This place is a solid four stars.
Good: Juniper Springs Resort is super convenient - close to eagle, shuttles to town, on demand shuttle to and from town, pool, hot tubs, parking. All very convenient. Clean sheets and plenty of clean towels. Easy check in. Lockers for skis. Less good: the fire place is gas and super quirky, the heat works really well! Everything seems well worn (not at all shabby or dirty, mind you, just very cozy. Totally recommend. Good solid four stars!
