Overall enjoyed our stay at Robin’s Nest. Peaceful place to relax after a day of exploring! The place was spacious for a family of four. Would stay there again if ever in Mammoth Cave, KY area again.
Our family just stayed for two nights here to visit Mammoth Cave and it was the perfect cabin. We spent a ton of time on the giant covered porch enjoying the outdoors and fresh air. The kids loved playing and sleeping up in the loft and the adults appreciated the kitchen with all we needed to cook dinners.
Had a lovely, relaxing short stay at the Robin's Nest. Accommodations were fantastic, neighborhood was quiet and peaceful... overall a great experience!
We had a wonderful stay at this house. The kitchen was well equipped and the space was perfect for our group. Everything was clean and just as described. Thank you for sharing your home!
As advertised, it was a nice comfortable stay. Neighborhood got a little noisy with other vacationers aroound but we were in the off season and only lasted a few minutes. Close enough to many attractions but far enough away to not feel crowded.
My daughter and I thoroughly enojoyed our stay here for her spring break. This was a nice location to the Mammoth Caves, which is worth a trip if you have never been! But, even better, this location is nestled in by Nolin Lake, which is so peaceful and quiet. The owner is great, they respond quickly and go the extra step to make sure you enjoy your stay! ggreat! They are so quickntonrepond
The house was beautiful 😍, Jamie is a wonderful host, anwered promptly to any questions i had, It was quiet and clean, and comfortable, just what we needed for a small getaway from home and some relaxation time
A lovely cabin in the woods. The neighborhood was very quiet with plenty of wildlife to see. It's about a half hour from town but there's a DG market right down the road if you need anything. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings.
We stayed at this beautiful cabin while visiting Mammoth Caves. The location was so quiet and peaceful and my family loved having space to spread out and relax. We cooked, had a fire in the fire pit, and had meals out on the porch. Everything was provided and thought of and we didn’t need a thing. The inside and outside of the cabin were beautiful and we would definitely stay again!
We had a great experience at the Robin’s Nest. It was very cute and very well-kept. The outside was comfortable - we were able to sit outside even in the rain. The inside was cozy and beautifully decorated and SO CLEAN!!!
Such a beautiful Amish built home in the woods close to Mammoth cave. Very clean and plenty of room for our family of 4. Check in was easy, and the home was equipped with a full kitchen, washing machine and board games! The porch was amazing to sit out and have coffee in the morning. Very quiet and peaceful. Would stay again!
the house awesome very cozy. Sitting on the porch was very relaxing after a day on the lake. The grass needed to be cut but other then that everything was great .
Everything about the cabin was beautiful from the large porch to the fire pit. Very comfortable and relaxing at all times of the day even with some occasional golf carts going by. Driveway is very steep so an suv is a must. Once fixed (owner is in process) should be great. 8 days and would go back anytime.
This property is beautiful! Its was very home like vibes. My kids loved the loft bedroom! It wasnt too close to neighbors! We enjoyed sitting out on the porch, building a fire. There was really everything here that you needed. We stopped for groceries on the way, and realized we forgot a few things. But they had it!!! A very comfortable stay!
We stayed at Robin’s Nest on our way from Florida to Illinois. This is a lovely cabin, and we really enjoyed it (despite an unusual amount of rainfall for this area, April 2025). Our host was accommodating and responded quickly to my questions. The house is has most everything you’ll need. We would stay again! Things to know: The county is dry so BYOB, there is a DG Market close by, a small grocery store is 15-20 drive away. Because we were road tripping I had a cooler with food supplies so we could cook in.We loved Lakeside Cafe for breakfast (Bonnie & Daryl are great) and Webb’s Roadside Mart/Grill on HWY 78. Seriously the BEST ribeye steak dinner!
Loved the Robins Nest. Lovely inside and out. The porch was relaxing, Bed (we only slept in the downstairs one) was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable. We were there to go to Mammoth Cave, and it was about 30 minutes away, so convenient and yet not overrun with other tourists. The neighborhood was peaceful. There are not a lot of food options or even grocery stores nearby, so plan ahead with that. Otherwise, we'd gladly book this again.
Very cute cabin nestled in the hills surrounding Mammoth Caves! This cabin is a little off the beaten path, super close to water features, and about 45 minutes from Mammoth Caves (and the closest Bucee's.....).The porch was our favorite part, we made all of our meals and ate outside for our three day stay. It's not an enclosed porch, but it's definitely covered and well laid out! Inside the cabin is a very nice layout, pretty sliding barn doors for the bathroom and master bedroom. Driveway could be a pain for lower cars, reasonable for jeeps or trucks.
Note of warning though, locals drive through this area on ATV's and golf carts, so keep an eye out when driving to or from at night!
Cabin is secluded and nicely decorated. Has beds for 5, but unless I had elementary to middle school children it is better suited to 2 adults. It has 1 bath and the door has a slight gap upon closure so you would need to be careful with privacy for 2 couples. It is about 30 minutes from Mammoth Cave, but not a bad drive. Nolin Lake is pretty but not much to do on it if you don’t bring.your own boat, canoe, etc. It was a good place for us to stay for a quick 3 day trip. It had the basic items to cook a meal. Do know that this property requires you purchase insurance for damage so add that to the cost of the stay. This was the first time I was required to do that. We had a nice time and the hosts were responsive. The fire pit area was nice but we did not take advantage of it. The porch on the cabin is lovely. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your cabin.
A great base for exploring Mammoth Cave. After seeing the lackluster hotel options in the area, we decided to find a rental instead, and luckily we found The Robins Nest. The cabin is immaculate and comfortable. Kids thought the loft room was really special. Enjoyed our home cooked meals at the lovely dining table, and the porch was my favorite spot for morning coffee!
