Very Beautiful View from the Oceanside. Very Nice rooms for the Price. Remote from the Noisy areas of the Island. Would stay here again when visiting Camiguin in the Future.
Great views and access to water. Staff are wonderful Friendly owner. Large rooms and very clean. Good food. 20 minutes from airport and other areas of interest are fairly close
A great value for your money.
The unit was clean and came with a kitchen sink, large fridge and kettle. The bathroom was basic but clean and had hot water. Bedroom had a TV but we never turned it on, only gripe in room was mattresses were the 5-6in dense foam, very common in the Philippines but way to firm for my wife’s liking.
The grounds were well cared for and the view is perfect for sunsets.
Like most resorts the star of the show are the employees. Fabulous and friendly. The restaurant is pretty limited in selection but everything we had was delicious.
I was here for 3 days and stayed at their Cliff Villa. What an amazing treat to see the spectacular sunset and enjoy the view of the mountains across the clear and turquoise sea water! The host, Frank is also accommodating as well as the staff. The meals were prepared well. However, I wish there are more varieties of Filipino dishes. I do understand it’s an island and can also be a challenge to source the ingredients. Internet was fast, too. Place is very quiet and ideal for relaxation. Frank was kind enough to connect me with a guide to climb with me the famous Mt. Hibok-Hibok. I highly recommend this place.
Great place to stay, throughly recommended. Made the mistake of only staying one night in Camiguin but Frank the owner took us on a tour of the island to get a flavour of what we were missing and we shall return. Staying of course at this wonderful resort.
The views from the resort are wonderful, and the staff is even better. From the moment I was picked up at the airport by Frank, the owner, until the time I left, I felt like my needs were attended to and all my questions were answered. The internet connection was excellent, the food at the restaurant was very good, and the location was safe and well-tended. Great value.
We loved our stay at Tongatok. The view from our room was amazing and the staff were all super kind and helpful. When my partner was not feeling well, one of their security workers went out late at night to look for yogurt. While he was unsuccessful due to the late time, the owners had some and gave it to us. The food was very good and as we were leaving we met the owner (Frank) who was also super kind and knowledgeable about the Philippines. We will most definitely stay here on our next trip to Camiguin.
This was by far one of the most hospitable hotels I’ve stayed out. The owner (Frank) as well as his entire staff were very generous, friendly and accommodating. They most definitely go out of there way to make the guest feel like family. And family is what staying here felt like. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little slice of heaven. The entire property was seeded with Bermuda grass and was also very well maintained. They literally swept up the leaves, with a broom and dust pan keeping everything clean as well as very esthetically pleasing. I couldn’t help but enjoy being barefoot to really enjoy natures carpet which was carefully seeded. Taking two entire years to seed the entire property. Little details like this are delicately placed everywhere throughout this resort. There is also a private stairway leading directly to the ocean! Not to mention a restaurant on the property which offers daily breakfast. The restaurant is a full service restaurant with the perfect blend of local culture as well as comfort foods from around the world. The restaurant also has a full service bar area. Both the restaurant and bar are open till 9pm daily. Which is very accommodating considering the rest of the island shuts down around 6pm. A simply beautiful place overall! One I can’t fully describe with words alone. Will definitely be booking this place again. 5 out of 5 stars for this resort. A must for families, couples or even the solo traveler.
