Skylights filled the home with natural light, and there were multiple entry/exit points that opened up to stunning views. A true highlight was watching the July 4th fireworks right from our windows. "Definitely exceeded all of my expectations. This was a quick one night stop for us but I instantly wished for a longer stay. The property is so unique and a breath of fresh air (literally) compared to your average hotel stay. It's the intimate experience of a bed and breakfast, but in what feels like a well appointed, expansive vacation home. It would have taken days to fully experience all the lodge had to offer, so I am already plotting a return visit. The room had a balcony from which we could sit and take in the views. The pool/hot tub and game room were begging to be used. The on-site pub was a cozy retreat. Breakfast was a million miles from the prepackaged continental breakfast you come to expect, with fresh pastries and homemade items. The horse stable is nearby and after visiting it, I only wish there was time for a ride before we left. The couple who manage the lodge were accessible and took a real hands on approach to making you feel welcome. Highly recommend."

"Enjoyed the older style and the actual physical regular key for our room. The free breakfast was small but good. Hotel is right off the main street so walking to dinner and around town was easy and simple. Only complaint was our AC wasn't working, but it was no big deal and staff made sure to let us know when we went to check in to make sure we were okay with it (it was the only room left). Kept the window open and we were alright. "

"Property was not cleaned. Dirty linens were piled on beds and kitchen counter. Dirty towels were left in bathroom. The Vacasa placard indicated the last maid service was May 9 - over a month prior to our arrival. We contacted Vacasa, who indicated the local team would be contacting us and arriving to clean the space. We never heard from them, and at 11pm we were left with no choice but to spend the night in the uncleaned space. We contacted Vacasa again in the morning to indicate we were checking out immediately and would not be staying for the rest of our reservation. Our refund request is still pending feedback from the “local team,” who is completely unresponsive as far as we can tell. Be wary of staying at this property."
