Auberge Bienvenue
Auberge Bienvenue"The hotel was clean, the grounds were pretty and the staff was pleasant. Booked the hotel for the pool. My 12 year old said the pool was boring and I agree. The pool area environment was plain and not inviting especially for a kid."
"Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much."
AU PIED DU LAVOIR
AU PIED DU LAVOIR"The friendliest welcome ever! Teddy (the spaniel) and I had an excellent stay in this beautiful house. We were looked after extremely well and look forward to returning."
The Originals City, Hôtel La Saulaie, Saumur Ouest
The Originals City, Hôtel La Saulaie, Saumur Ouest"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. Only point of note is if you wish to dine in their partner (next door) restaurant , best to reserve in advance , as it was fully booked (despite being...
Manoir du Bois Noblet
Manoir du Bois Noblet"I can't fault this wonderful manoir - Francois and Dominique were the perfect hosts Beautiful large room with a lovely, comfortable 4 poster bed. Very well appointed and full of beautiful antiques Dinner and breakfast were superb and the attention to detail quite lovely The manor is in a beautiful setting close to the Loire River It was lovely to practice our French with Francois and Dominique - if we are in the area again we will most definitely come back I would highly recommend this manoir"
L'Ancienne Boulangerie
L'Ancienne Boulangerie"Fabulous stay in a quaint building sympathetically restored. A highly quality guesthouse and host was very welcoming. Made minor alterations to the breakfast which made our stay even better as the children happy with food choices. The host has a fab website with links to shops and restaurants and made our overnight stop incredible. "
