"From start to finish we had a great experience with this booking. Communication was excellent with the host. We stayed in the loft apartment, which is in pristine condition, and, as well as having the big main balcony, has 2 smaller balconies so that you can guarantee a seat in the sun at almost anytime of day. The apartment is spacious and has all you need for a great stay in Lakka. And the view just caps it all. Shops, bars and restaurants are all nearby."

The property itself was a bit dated, and getting there was somewhat challenging because the roads were very narrow and steep. "Overall this is a very nice hotel. Nice location, beautiful views, extremely clean, and very well maintained. Two things I thought couldn’t be better! First, the room design, the bathroom was separated from the sleeping area by a glass door! Second, I personally thought the sun beds were arranged to close with one another, this made private conversations and privacy overall a bit challenging! If you ask me, if I would return there, my answer is absolutely. It’s still a very nice hotel"

"We had a fantastic stay at Villa Anassa Mara. Kona, the host, was incredibly helpful, and all of the staff were exceptional throughout our stay. The villa itself was very comfortable, clean and well maintained, with all amenities working perfectly. The outlook over the ocean from the balcony is absolutely stunning, and the pool was spotless and beautifully maintained. The beach bar is a fantastic bonus, with friendly staff and crystal-clear water right on your doorstep. It really adds to the overall experience and makes it easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The only addition I would suggest is a shuttle van to pick guests up and drop them off in town, as this would make getting around even easier. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Villa Anassa Mara to others."

"Staff and owner is amazing!! She accommodated an extra person to our room a few days before. Rooms are spacious. Everything has been revamped. Only point for improvement is the actual pools themselves need refurbing and a slightly better breakfast selection. Other than that great location on beach front and close to restaurants and supermarkets. And just far enough from the craziness of the strip. Family run hotel for families!! Amazing!! Owner and her mum are so lovely!!"

"Penny and her family are excellent hosts. They prioritise the guests and we felt very at home. The atmosphere is relaxed. I loved the background music at breakfast and by the pool. We were in the annex, the view was amazing, we watched sail boats go by from our veranda.The Friday night greek night was great fun well worth booking. The hotel is in a quiet area and is less than a 10 minute walk into Kavos so great to be away from the noise. My son praised the night manager who was very friendy and helpful. I'd highly recommend this hotel."

"The room was clean and good for the price. The air conditioning was a little bit weak given how hot it was but not a major problem. The only downsides were that there were quite a few extra charges in terms of evening entertainment, sun beds in the hotel and (refundable) for towels, which all required cash which we didn't have enough of, but staff were lovely and quite flexible. We were half-board and the food was decent."

"It is a beautiful setting. The hotel is relatively small but the villas are nicely placed and the pool and bar areas are very nice. The sea is very pleasant with a fine rocky almost sandy beach easily accessible. Sun loungers on the beach are not available but there are enough sun loungers in the surrounding spaces with a sea view so that is OK. There were no water sports eg kayaking available although the hotel next door has a couple of paddleboards you can hire. The sea swimming area is pretty and warm, fine for most but if you like a bigger sea swim you do end up in boat lane traffic after 50 to 100 metres. Very relaxing. Great breakfast and food if a little pricey. Local village is very sweet and renting a boat there is easy. No massage or spa. No real activities to speak of. Very hilly site. But if you just want somewhere clean relaxing with a nice pool, a good view and easy access to the sea, it hits the spot."
