"This motel was so clean and well presented. Basic amenities but good. Loved that I could make a cup of coffee or some toast in the morning. And our son loved being able to hook up his PlayStation to the TV. The host was very polite, could not fault it. "Ararat Hotel is a beautiful old building with 30 foot something ceilings. It's architecture and old world charm is immensely impressive. It operates like a hostel or an old boarding house.
Unfortunately, I am not a fan of communal bathrooms and kitchens, but the bedroom was clean and warm on one of the coldest nights in Ararat this year.
