"Nice place to stay "

"This was such a beautiful step back in history with luxury and romance. The beds were pillow top but not memory foam, which we appreciated. The little amenities of bath robes, kuerig machine, extremely soft sheets and even a make-up washcloth (not just wipes like other hotels) were wonderful! The history all around inside the hotel was an experience in itself, then add all the shops from flowers, spa, boutique, even a bridal shop. They had main spaces with a variety of seating to maximize your social time, as well as two restaurants right on-site."

"The property is going through some remodeling but even through that, it was clean and comfortable. Our room had been updated and was comfortable and clean. The owners are extremely helpful while also allowing us our privacy. Definitely will stay at whenever we are in Lake City!"

"Our stay was really nice, we especially enjoyed the gracious breakfast, the swimming pool could have been warmer but we are senior citizens so we are used to a 90 plus degree swimming pool at our senior club at Northfield MN. We really liked the view of Lake Pepin, beautiful! Our room was very nice and clean and the beds were quite comfortable with lots of nice pillows. Very happy with our stay and would choose it again."

"Our family of 5 and two dogs had a wonderful trip to home on Lake Pepin. The home was well stocked with kitchen appliances and anything we could need to cook home cooked meals. We enjoyed the comfort of the high quality beds and linens. Walking to the lake was such a treat even though it was cold out. The sauna was amazing and we used it daily. We also truly enjoyed walking to Heidi’s cafe and the bowling alley. I can’t recommend this rental enough for anyone looking to be near the water and enjoy a nice relaxing environment. "

"Plenty of room for our group of 9 Fiber enthusiasts. Had a great weekend of knitting, sewing, and laughing. Lighting was a small challenge but we made do with extra task lights we brought with us (just in case). Beautiful view, especially with the two eagles hanging out in the tree in front of the place! We plan on returning next year."
