Very disappointed that the A/C was not working! You can’t have people to hot and trying to sleep! Other than that it was very nice! Breakfast was great.

The hotel is conveniently located for visiting Lake Maggiore and Como with a rental car. The train station is a short walk away for a day trip into Milan without the hassle of driving there. There is very limited parking at the hotel itself. There is a parking lot about a five minute walk away. Not an issue for me but it could pose a problem for those with mobility issues. There is an elevator in the hotel. Breakfast was very fine with a wide assortment of choices for all tastes. My only problem was noise. The first night I was over a dining area which was very audible in the room. It was quiet after 11:30 pm. I tried the same room one more night because I was told this dining room area was only used as an overflow on Saturday evenings. However, it turned out that what I thought would be a rather quiet street had non-stop traffic in the weekday morning rush hour. I then moved to a higher floor away from the street and the rest of the stay was quite quiet except the for the neighbour's barking dog throughout the day. I would recommend that travellers who are light sleepers like me ask for a room on the second or third floor away from the street. The staff were all lovely and concerned to be helpful.

I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel. It’s clearly just been renovated and is in excellent condition. Whilst in the centre the walk from the hotel to the main centre ( 10 minutes ) is through an ‘interesting’ area , not unsafe but definitely didn’t feel comfortable. The room I had was a duplex which I wasn’t aware of when I booked with the toilet downstairs which was strange as was in the hotel basement . There was an emergency exit door which is fine but they should state clearly it’s a one way door . I also felt the cheap wall hair dryer was very dated and not functional for a 5 star hotel . And thanks for being Pet friendly and not chargi by extra .

Convenient walking distance to the train station and restaurants in town. Nice breakfast. Clean place.

Although this property is quite a distance outside of the main city of Milan, it was a much quietier area. The metro is only a short walk away. Hotel is beautiful and we upgraded to an exclusive room which was lovely. We loved how quiet it was and the staff were fab. I would highly recommend staying here.
