"It was in a decent location and was clean. However it did smell of something and the smell was difficult to shake… even with the windows and doors left open. There were lots of little things missing: no dish towels to dry dishes, no effective plug in sink to do dishes, no bread knife to cut bread, no iron or ironing board, no where to hang washing. "Staff were amazing from beginning to end. Our room had plenty of room with two double beds but the rest of my family’s rooms which were doubles were so tiny and cramped!! Breakfast was lovely - lots of options! We had dinner in Fara Ógs on the first night and it was amazing!!! And dinner in the Tapas bar on the second night and it was equally as good. Swimming pool was great! Our bathroom had a bad smell and our TV remote didn’t work. But apart from that, we had a fantastic stay!!! Would definitely recommend!"

"We had a fantastic stay here, the only thing that was disappointing was that we couldn't stay longer. Anne, the host, was easy to communicate with and sent instructions very early in advance. One thing I'll note for guests is to get the water heater turned on fully at least 30 minutes ahead of taking a shower to get enough hot water. The property is very energy-conscious, which is great, so guests just need to remember to be respectful of this and turn things on when needed. The water views were spectacular, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole place was cozy. Going for a walk up the street was fun as there are sheep nearby. I will note that this place is not in walking distance to a pub, but there are a few within a 10-20 minute drive."

"The room was spotless and spacious. The only drawback was, it was at the front and the traffic could be heard passing through the night. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was excellant and set you up for the day ahead. We only used the bar on our first night for an evening meal. The food was very good and the Guinness hit the spot.
