Was a very nice stay. The location was great, on top of the mountain, very quiet, and great views from everywhere in the cabin, especially the hot tub. Perfect place to check into just to rest, and enjoy the peace of the mountains, for a few days. Very close to NP too!
Nice cabin with a separate living area downstairs! Great for providing privacy for different family members. Was very afraid that it would be heard to get to due to other reviews -But it was really easy access. Would definitely recommend!
Tree Top Cabin was a great getaway for Thanksgiving with the family. Great views, camp fires and soaking in the hot tub after long days discovering all the beautiful surroundings .
Everything was great.. the climb up the mountain was an adventure but so worth it after getting up there.. minimal parking at the cabin but we were able to make it work!! Would definitely stay again!
We love the cabin. Everything was just what we expected. The view was even better than we could’ve imagined . We used the hot tub every day and would be happy to come back and stay in the future.
Our stay at Tree Top Cabin was the best mountain cabin stay we’ve ever had. We’ve been visiting Maggie Valley for years and always enjoy the community very much. This property is by far the best mountain cabin ever. The views are breathtaking and can be enjoyed from every window and anywhere on the deck. Solid build and comfortable. Hot tub under the stars was was incredible. Hit the grocery store first and then grab plenty of firewood, because you will NOT want to leave!! AWD vehicle is best, but our front wheel drive made it fine during our dry weather stay.
Loved this place! The view was amazing! Even though we arrived at night, the directions were quite easy to follow. Loved exploring the woods around the house and even found some chanterelle mushrooms growing. Would stay here again!
What a gorgeous cabin at practically the top of the mountain. We loved the view and the accommodations were awesome! Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. We replaced the spent candle in the kitchen. We had a super time. The drive up and down was needless to say adventurous! and I’m glad I wasn’t driving! Thank you for sharing your home.
We loved staying at Treetops. The pictures online do not do the property justice. The views are incredible, and the house is comfortable and homey. We have been traveling to the area for many years, and we all agreed this was our favorite place. It is a bit of a trek to get to it, but the GPS found it with no issue. Also, although there is no internet, our phones worked just fine. It was wonderful to unplug for a week! Thank you for sharing Treetops with our family.
The cabin is just as I pictured it! Got the full “cabin” experience. Treetop is a great name for the cabin as you look out from the deck, that is all you see. The road was a steep, but expected it. It had been outlined in the description. Very quiet and secluded, but only 20 minutes to town. When we are back in the area will most. Definitely stay with them!
We enjoyed our stay at Tree Top cabin. Great for couples or families with children as you have 2 separate, private spaces. Basement has a bedroom, full bath and sitting area with TV. Board games and movies abound, interesting books on indigenous people's. Upstairs, open loft bedroom. Beds are a little firm. Abundance of towels and wash cloths, you will be amazed and no need to pack extras from home. Cabin was clean and cozy. Jacuzzi was awesome under the stars. Property is on a very steep grade, drive up the mountain is very steep but managed well in my Nissan Sentra. Just be extra careful and down shift going back down. Driveway is very steep and one way. Steep downhill walk to the fire pit. When I say steep, it is very steep. Probably not well suited for persons with mobility issues. There are other cabins around you but you still have total privacy. Best place to unwind and get away from it all and enjoy the mountain air. Their is no WIFI but our Verizon phones worked with no problems, just watch your data usage! Would definitely stay again.

End of the trail top of the peak!
Great views , little dated but well stocked with the “family entertainment items” and the extra’s someone may need… good thing because you won’t want to drive back to town often

Beautiful house. Insanely steep road and primitive driveway
First let me say that this cabin was adorable and did in fact have stunning views from the deck and hot tub. Also - as luck would have it - our visit coincided with a significant winter storm. Good for skiing. Bad for roads.
With that being said - the approach to the home is described as a moderate incline on a dirt road. The entire road to the house was extremely steep. Our 4 wheel drive vehicle struggled in many spots to make it up the incline prior to the bad weather even arriving. Further - the final approach - the driveway was even steeper - very narrow with tons of loose gravel making it virtually undriveable in our 4 wheel drive - again before the weather arrived. Ultimately we had to decide to move to another place (roadside motel = added expense since no refund) to avoid getting stranded at the cabin. (The property Mgmt company was not able to give us any information or assurances on if or when the roads would be scraped or maintained due to bad weather.)
Beautiful view - yes. But I’m not sure the drive or risk of getting stranded is worth it. Would not
Wonderful, comfortable cabin with awesome views! If you want a peaceful, private setting this is it. Loved the hottub! Road to cabin is a little challenging but manageable. Would definitely stay here again.
Mountain view and location exceeded expections. We hit the fall colors at there peak. Very quiet and secluded location. No internet but our cell phone service was excellent (us cellular) Hot tub was wonderful under the stars. We plan returning next year.
Overall a good cabin. A few issues did exist. Downstairs TV did not work. Two of the jets on the hot tub did not work. The ice cube trays in the freezer not filled prior to our arrival.
Great place for a mountain get-away. We enjoyed the cabin and the covered porch which has awesome views of the mountains and valley. Area was quiet and peaceful. The road up to cabin was not a difficult drive but does require the driver to stay focused. The driveway to the cabin is quite steep with lots of loose gravel. It does not affect the truck or cars but on the motorcycle it could be treacherous so be careful. I would stay here again.
