One night stay

Stopped off in Magdeburg on my way to Berlin and opted for Mercure hotel. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Room was clean, comfortable and had good WiFi coverage. Bike friendly, which was a bonus. Would happily use again

Reasonable overnight stay

Comfortable bed. Decent shower (though a shower curtain rather than a screen). Kettle in the room. Underground parking (charged extra). We paid £10 each extra in the room rate for breakfast - this was quite disappointing, possibly as a result of not having many guests

Es ist fast besser als wie nach Hause zu kommen. Mega freundlicher Empfang. Ist die Zimmertür zu einfach herrliche Ruhe.

Das Personal war durchweg freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Außerdem gibt es kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten hinter dem Hotel. Leider hatte ich ein Zimmer, das anscheinend selten vergeben wird. Am Teppichrand neben dem Bett stapelte sich der Staub, der Teppich war fleckig und die Vorhänge waren dreckig. Außerdem war der Überlaufschutz vom Waschbecken schwarz vor Dreck. Schade.

Die Zimmer zur Straße waren sehr laut. Straßenbahn fährt ständig. gegenüber ist eine Bar sehr laut. sehr warm und keine Klimaanlage. An Schlaf nicht zu denken. Zimmer zum Hof sind ruhig und angenehm. Zimmer zur Straße würde ich auf keinen Fall mehr buchen. Frühstücksbuffett sehr viel und gut.

Não gostei da estadia. Não havia um bar e nem mesmo um restaurante no hotel (ambos fechados). Os quartos são antigos, a recepcionista, apesar de educada e cortes, mal sabia falar inglês. Meu quarto não foi limpado. Não havia controle de temperatura no quarto. O café da manhã foi “a lá carte”. Tive que selecionar o que iria comer no café na noite anterior. Programei ficar duas noites no hotel mas preferi sair antes.
