This is one of the best hidden treasures of the world. Come indulge in truly authentic Japanese luxury, get pampered, well fed, and take it all in amidst serene and tranquil surroundings.
Super clean and quite with wonderful environment, if you looking for a onsen place to stay and relax out of the city, this is it.Staff is super helpful and greet you whenever they see you just like most of the up-class ryokan. I went there on snowing day and they even provide snow boots, slider, etc for you to have fun. The snow viewing from the in room open air bath is spectacular. The best thing from this hotel is dining, super nice room with large glass windows for snow viewing, high class speaker with wonderful music choice, and the best food I ever had out of all the onsen ryokon I stayed, the food itself is Michelin 2 star worth. My wife and me went to Japan many many times and usually stay with 2 high class onsen roykan each time, my wife love senjuan so much she just want to stay at this place next time we visit.
