Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark

8/10 Good

"We only had one night stay as visiting the Rotterdam Zoo which is closeby. The hotel comes with a large parking adjacent so quite convenient and you pay at check-in. We loved the breakfast and kids were so happy to find a packcake machine. The gym was under reconstruction but we used it and was ok for a quick work out. Our room was strangely not ready (checking in around 17h30) but were given an alternative room. The down side was the room floor was dirty and had no fridge. There is a kids corner in the lobby but there was nothing to entertain the children which was a bit of let down. There is a self-check out shop with food and drinks and prices looked decent. There is not much to do around and tram to centre was a good 15mins walk."

Bastion Hotel Rotterdam Zuid

8/10 Good

"The staff here is absolutely delightful. The shower was great. The bed was very comfortable. This would have been a five star rating except for the fact that there were some deficiencies with the building and its design. I’m glad that I don’t have mobility issues, or the lack of ramps and large number of steps would have made it very difficult to get around. The elevators are very small. There were only two electrical outlets in the room. With that being said, I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was a very pleasant stay, and the staff deserve the highest commendations for their excellent service."

Campanile Hotel Breda

8/10 Good

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location even if you haven't got a car as the bus stop is just round the corner taking you into the centre and the station in around 15 minutes. Also good for cyclists as they have a locked store. Not many places to eat nearby however. Breakfast is fine. Beds are very comfortable and although rooms are quite small there's everything that you need for a short stay. Next door hotel is popular with commercial drivers so can be noisy early morning."
