The staff was great, but overall the hotel could use some improvement. There was a bit of a language barrier, and at times certain English words were not fully understood, which is understandable but did create some minor challenges.
The spa was fantastic, and the massages were truly excellent. Breakfast was also outstanding—very well organized and enjoyable. I was especially appreciative of how smoothly the airport pickup was coordinated.
That said, the hotel could improve the quality of its bedding. Unfortunately, the pillows appeared to be moldy, holes which was quite unpleasant. Addressing this would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

I’ve spent three nights at goalie. It was a nice stay, the facilities are clean and the pool is really nice. Room was spacious with a balcony and nice shower. The stuff was very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our time here - staff were very helpful and the breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of options from Sri Lankan to western breakfasts! Very easy location to Galle Fort which was helpful for touring! The bathroom was also well stocked and big.
