"We had the lower level of the house, and it was very spacious. The balcony is huge overlooking farm fields and over the ocean, a clear visual of Pico. I would highly recommend anyone coming to the island is to stay at this place. The only downside I would have to say would be he will be hearing roosters very early in the morning (5am) and all type of other farm animals in the facility. "Nice large rental property in rural Prainha de Cima. Host was very nice and accommodating. Clean apartment with everything you need for comfortable stay. Day trips are easy to Horta or Velas on the ferries. Recommended. Great value."

"Adelina was the most gracious and friendly host! Supplying us with incredible fruit and eggs from her gardens and chickens. The house had spectacular views of Sao Jorge and had tons of room for a family of 6. It also had a well appointed kitchen. Loved the location. A great stay. "

"This is a beautiful property that opened 10 days before we stayed, so they were still working out little issues. The staff was very solicitous and the wine tasting in the cave was a really nice experience. The pool for the main rooms is indoor and lovely. The VIP rooms have their own small pools. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely. There is no outdoor pool, bar or restaurant. "

"Nico and Eunice's property is as shown on the listing. The view is spectacular and the location if perfect for walking to town, restaurants, ferry and the wine museum. Nico was incredibly helpful with suggestions ahead of time and while we were there. He was also very responsive to any questions or left us a nice welcome gift of local items upon our arrival. Our family had a great time at this property and found it to be a perfect location to explore the Madalena end of the island as well as the rest of the island via car. The island is a wonderful place with great hiking, a vineyard to walk through and many other sites/experiences. We would strongly recommend staying at this property."
