  • Each year in Macon, GA a festival bringing people in from surrounding area pops up for a week in early spring. The cherry blossom festival is a festival that most people have heard of, for I'm sure you have one near you. The one in Macon lasts a week an has carnival rides, strong man competitions, dog trick shows, mattress races, and many many more fun things to do all week. On the first Saturday of the festival a unique event happens that brings tens of thousands to just sit and watch. The balloon glow. Hot air balloons come in from all around and set up in the fields outside Macon state college. During the afternoon and into the evening you are able to pay $10 and go up for a short ride that will briefly give you the experience of a hot air balloon ride. But at night, that is when things light up. With a live band on stage these balloons light up the night sky as they rise and fall through the air. With over 20 balloons it is beautiful when they all go off at the same time. People cheer, horns blow, bands play, and everyone has a great time as these balloons shows each year.

Great room, clean and spacious. Hot tub was nit hot. And over chlorinated to where it hurt the lungs and eyes within minutes. Other then that no issues. Didnt come down for breakfast.

Room was good. No signs of any bugs. TV worked, water pressure very low. The pool was freezing but the hot tub was nice. Some of the clientele were a bit rough and there was an altercation right outside our door at 2am. Breakfast was ok. The yogurt was expired and there were a couple bugs (dead and alive) in the breakfast area. The person working the front desk and the man in the breakfast area were both very friendly. Location was very convenient. Good for a 1 night stay.

Comfortable motel room for travelers just off the interstate. Decent breakfast included with the room, we would stay there again.

Had everything we needed including fridge microwave and coffee maker. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast left a lot to be desired but Waffle House and Cracker Barrel very close by.

Rooms were large and spacious. Fairly clean rooms. Shower curtain had a bit of a sour smell, like left wet for too long. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner but all together pretty stratified with out stay. Close to anything you could need and interstate.

One night alright stay

We stayed one day as a stop of a longer trip. The staff was amazing but the indoor pool had to chlorine smell to the inside which we did not decide to swim in. (Watered our eyes just being inside) and the waffles tasted
