Went to stay here for 2 nights. Arrived late at night and they left the key in the mailbox. Went into room and there was cob webs in every corner, I had to kill 9 giant spiders (seen in pictures) I used a coat handed to twirl up the cob webs. There was tissue stuffed in the window a/c unit (fully view of the outside/draft). The shower didn’t drain. Tried to go to office to talk to and no one was there. Called multiple times to get a different room no one answered. It was late so we had to stay the one night. I was in the phone with Expedia trying to cancel tomorrows night cause we couldn’t stay another night in these conditions. In the morning, was told I need to go to management to get a refund for the following night. And I had to drive to different hotels with a sign on the door saying go to this location, once you got to that location had to go to the other location. Once arrived had to wait for someone to arrive and she was extremely unprofessional and rude. Not to be mean but she was straight “white trash” and Her face was wrinkled up and stuck up not to because she already knew she wasn’t going to accommodate her guest and said you need to cancel 3 days prior to your stay. How were we suppose to know the room was going to be this poor of condition and then can’t cancel the following night. Total scam to have a policy in place that you need to cancel 3 days prior when you can see the condition of the room until you get there. The pictures are false advertising.

Though the view was great, that was the only thing good about this property. No staff around, not the cleanest, amenities advertised weren't working, broken coffeepot and no one to report it to, felt apprehensive when in the room (not safe), inconvenient to have to go to another hotel for amenities. Will not stay here again.

The room itself was clean enough and the location was PERFECT for my getaway needs. The reason for my rating is due to security. I’m a single woman traveling alone. Security is crucial. I arrived around 8pm, so it was dark. I had to check in at the office of the property next door, which is fine. However, when I drove back over to this property, there were limited exterior lights on the property, and NONE on my building. It was very dark. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to walk around until I located my room. Once I found it, and got into the room, none of the interior lights worked either! I had to wander the dark property and room with my phone for light! Eventually I discovered a couple of unplugged lamps, plugged them in and was okay. I get that I was traveling off season, and as such properties like this look for ways to run more cost effectively. I don’t expect full service or red carpets, but if I’m giving them my money, I do expect lights.

This motel does not match the pictures posted at all. When we got to our room there was bugs and spider webs everywhere, dust, the sheets were damp and musty, there was a fan in there left from trying to air the place out I’m assuming, there was a door connecting it to another hotel room. Just overall very scary and would not recommend at all. We were refused a refund so we had to transfer to another motel under the same ownership.

Random Trip to Mackinaw
A trip to Mackinaw City is also a good thing. A nice place to stay is even better. This was not a bad place for the cost. It had a good view of the beach and a spot for a bonfire if wanted. For the condition of the room, was ok. That's all I'll give it. Things I did notice. The shower head sucked, there numerous bugs outside the door, being near water that is slightly expected. As well as a nice amount of what look like to me cigarette burns, on the chairs and wall. So if your looking for just a one night stay and your only gonna be in the room to sleep. This is a good one.

There were no outside lighting in the parking lot, had to use flashlights to navigate to our room. The rooms have a bad odor as well as unclean and believe me when I say this SPIDER INFESTED. Spiders are literally everywhere all around the outside deck, chairs, inside in every corner, on the TV, in shower. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating.

Bridge walk 2023
The place was clean and staff very helpful. The place has seen its days and that being said it could use some updates. It had an A/C window type in the wall in the bathroom area. It being there it wasn’t very cool in the room. It was ok. We would stay there again.

Nice rooms. Clean. Couldn't get the TV to work. Love the beach area. It was probably because it was late when we checked in, but we had to go to a different hotel to get our keys for our hotel room that was 4 hotels down the road. The guy at the desk was really friendly so that was a plus. I would definitely stay again.

The rooms were full of spiders. The excuse was that they are on the water. We go up there every year and stay at other hotels on the water and never have had that issue. The pools were nasty. Just nasty.

Not what we expected. Very dated and run down. Pool was not inviting. Advertised a hot tub that wasn't there. The shower was clean with good water pressure. Would never stay here again.

The motel needs complete updating inside and out. The structure was in very poor state. Could not seem to communicate with the front office. The TV seemed to not work most of the time and when we mentioned it to the office they acted like we should have known what to do. We had to walk two motels over to talk with someone. Their was no maintenance while we were staying, you had to ask for more towels. We will not ever stay there again. Not worth the money they were charging.

Made the reservation 2 weeks in advanced for our anniversary. When we arrived for a rrason they wouldnt tell us that room was not available. So they moved us to another hotel which i thought for the inconvenience would be nicer. WRONG! The room smelled moldy, the bathroom floor was water damaged the room was absolutely disgusting. I go online to look at reviews of this hotel and find similar reviews. Their website shows pics of different hotel rooms that are not theirs and the price was alot cheaper then the room i originally reserved and still paid that price. I paid 230 for a room for the hotel room we got moved to the rate was 97 a night. When i brought this up to the front desk they said that was the rate when i booked it and theres nothing they could do. While this was going on another customer was demanding a full refund due to bed bugs and the manager's attitude was very poor. All in all will never stay and warn anybody i can to avoid these places. Bridview motel, sunrise beach motel and the place that had our room bell's melody motel.

Our worst stay using the app so far
The pics showed a decent place to stay but its far from reality, our room was not very clean, the toilet was clogged, we had to go to a different place for check in, the hole place looked like abandoned and the beach was no clean as well. When we did the check out I heard the rate that someone else got directly from the hotel which was way lower than the one we paid and I ask for an adjustment but they said it was not possible due to online payment.

The property had a beautiful view, unfortunately it was littered with trash. When you get there you quickly find out you have to walk next door to a different motel to check in. They apparently share facilities and the neighboring motel has the hot tub which does not work. The motel is very dated and run down. The mattresses are old and springy. For they price you pay to stay there you could get an amazing hotel in a different town. You can do better. It’s sad to see such any amazing piece of property with a beautiful view of the bridge not cared for.

No check in staff at front desk. Sign on door saying to go check for this hotel at another hotel next door. Never could get internet to work even after calling other hotel for assistance. Pictures of this hotel are quite deceiving and look like they are 3 years old or more. Condition of property has chanced considerably since they were taken. Many nicer hotels in same location available for about same price. I would not recommend this hotel.

I rarely write a review, but I felt so cheated. So it's partly my own fault, I didn't want to pay to inflated prices in the Mackinaw area, so I settled for the cheapest price - 129 for Friday, 159 for Saturday. The property is tired, dated and run down. The carpets are stained, the mattresses were new in 1980 and uncomfortable. None of the pillows matched and they were all super old as was the polyester bedspread from 1990. That being said, they were clean and no bed bugs, I I had nightmares of bugs. No care is put into the maintenance of the property for example the deck hasn't been painted in years and weeds are growing up through it, the exterior could use a power wash. The outside pool was green. The service was lousy - was turned away for check in (which is located at a different hotel down the street) at 4 and not able to check in until 630pm. No compensation or discount. I realized when I got to my room that they didn't give me the wifi password. I went back to the front desk and was reluctantly given it. I gave the password to two other guests because they are in the same boat. But, the wifi didn't work in my room, I had to stand in the parking lot to get reception. I would have called the front desk, but there was no phones in the rooms. When I went to the front desk to get the password, I heard another guest getting a waiver for a waterpark that was included in the room, so I asked for one also, and was given it. If you don't ask, they won't tell you, there are 2

I appreciated that they were able to correct my reservation error ( I booked one room instead of two). One reason I chose this motel was because it has a pool, but we couldn't use it because it was not well maintained. Also had to wait beyond check in time because they were still cleaning rooms which made us late for our ferry to the island. Then the following morning we couldn't use the shower because the water was so hot and we could not adjust it. I would not recommend this motel and will not stay here again.

This is a scam. They have multiple properties. When you show up, they tell you the property you booked is full and push you to a cheaper property they own. The replacement property was a drive away. We signed the replacement paperwork, big mistake. The replacement property was terrible and they refused a refund. We went to the parking lot and called the original property they said was full. They told us at least 2 rooms were available. This was right after they told us the property was overbooked. So basically, they collect higher rates from the nicer property and then give you a room in the cheaper property. Scam. Avoid.

Iron stains in the tub, sink, and toilet and the rooms were overall smelly . Our first room had now been cleaned and the door wouldn’t close. They put us in a second room that smelled terrible. The tub, sink and toilets were stained terribly in both rooms. The property was not kept up and the pool was in very sad shape. This property in my opinion is unacceptable.

We did not stay here, they tried to put us in a room that was either occupied or hadn’t been cleaned. Then attempted to put us in a room with no air and covered in bugs. The lobby is a mess and they refused to refund our stay.

The property was nice in the water, very run down but overall a one star. The first room my family entered is was smelling of mold and not even manageable with the windows open. I went to the front desk and they gave us keys to another room that also had a very strong odour of mole plus there was giant holes in the walls exposing the internal plumbing. From this point I went back to the front desk and explained to them it was safe for my family to stay the night they said there was nothing wrong with it . And the lady also checking in the same time saw our room and said the same thing including that she didn’t get the right room she didn’t purchase. I then had to just leave my room that I paid for as I could not get a hold of Expedia customer service and find myself another hotel for my family. I was very disappointed I. The service.
