If it’s a sandy beach you’re after, or a spot of golf, then the pretty seaside location of Aberdyfi is perfect (17.5 miles). And, of course, you are on the edge of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park with walks and outdoor pursuits aplenty.

    As you arrive, you can’t but help admire the view; step inside and start exploring the lovely, detached period house, full of historic charm with its oak beams and feature stone walls. If you decide to eat in with local produce purchased on your travels, the kitchen is well equipped with all you need to rustle up a meal whilst enjoying views over the garden. When ready, walk through to the dining room with feature stone walls, beams and flooded with natural light. It is the perfect setting to gather round the dining table and plan your holiday activities over dinner. After a full day out, head to the lounge with beams and views over the garden from every window. Relax on the comfortable sofas, watch a film on the Smart TV or light the wood burner for cosy nights in. When ready for bed, you have three lovely bedrooms to choose from, the two doubles or the twin, all with lovely views to wake up to.
