"The staff were very friendly. All wore hair nets. Rooms clean. Good selection of food.
Internet is terrible, check in was very poor.
Fortunately chatgpt told us all we need to know about the different restaurants we could go to or we wouldnt have known any of that.
Kids club was very good"
"Everything about our stay was wonderful! From the special cupcakes and note for my mom's birthday that were in our room on our arrival, to the fresh, delicious, made-to-order breakfasts, wonderful service, and thoughtful touches such as umbrellas, ponchos, and rubber boots available for use. It was raining and cloudy the week we were there but cleared up on our last day and we were able to enjoy the amazing views and the walking trails on the property. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night and the server noted my mom was standing near the fire to keep warm while we were waiting for our table and arranged to have our dinner served in front of the fire which my mom loved. The location was also very close to town and convenient. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Monteverde."
"The Sunset views are spectacular. It was the highlight of our day. Every night was a masterpiece. Dinner is open air, and you can watch the sunset. The restaurant staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially Melanie. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable she learned our names and our preferences. The room was spacious and spotless. It came with the balcony that we used very often. The hiking grounds are amazing and right outside your door. Front staff was also very helpful but Melanie stood out as very genuine and friendly. We used the laundry service and were so happy to have gotten the chance we did a night tour which was interesting. The front desk staff organized drives into town for us, but we always came back for the sunsets. Our favorite meal was the wood oven pizza, and the soups. The whole restaurant smells like wood pizza it’s to die for my biggest tip is bring enough warm clothes, bring rain, ponchos, it rains throughout the day and as eating is open air, you can feel cold. You will want a jacket. The staff will also bring you blankets"
"Excellent amenities and great cooked to order breakfast. Cute well decorated room with a very comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Diego helped booked our tour to the cloud forest with a very knowledgeable guide. Short walk to the town center. "
"Room was clean and exactly what we needed during our two night stay. Loved the hot tub. We did have a hard time finding the property as there was no sign at the time of our visit but gps got us 99% of the way. It’s directly across from the meeting point of the guided hanging bridges walking tour so we were able to walk over. You’ll be able to drive about 10 minutes to town. Parking wasn’t too bad in the town area during our stay and the hotel has parking"
