"We had an absolutely perfect stay and can honestly say this place deserves a full 10/10. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt both cozy and thoughtfully designed. You can really tell how much care the host puts into maintaining the property. Communication with the host was seamless, friendly, and prompt, which made the entire experience stress-free. My boyfriend and I both agreed this was one of the best Vrbo properties we’ve ever stayed in. "Had a amazing fall girls weekend with my mother, sister and daughter. There is a gorgeous view of the lake. We enjoyed the sunrise and watching the eagles. The host provided plenty of supplies. The kitchen was aadequately stocked for cooking and dining. We appreciated the thoughtful extras like the game closet. The hosts also had great communication.The furnishings were very comfortable. The queen beds were high, but we managed. Even though the house is one story, the entry may be a little difficult for someone with mobility issues. My mom uses a cane and managed okay walking up the grassy hill. Overall, a comfortable cozy place and we would definitely stay again. It is the perfect house for a summer family vacation on the lake or quiet weekend getaway."

"We had a wonderful experience at Lil'Kickback! Our stay at this delightful cabin on Elk Creek was in the end of October, 2025 and part of our 40th anniversary celebration. Travelling along the Great River Road from southern Wisconsin, Eau Claire was to be a layover spot as we had planned to take a day trip to the northern tip of the state and visit some waterfalls. Jolene is a superb host! Her communication with us was wonderful. While we were in route, she reached out to check on our arrival time and sent me additional directions to the cabin. We arrived at dusk and immediately felt so welcome. Lights were on in the cabin and there was a fire burning in the gas fireplace in the living room. It was at that time, we decided to change our plans. Rather than spend our first day travelling, we opted to remain at the cabin and enjoy everything it had to offer. First this place is adorable! So cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated! The cabin is located on a creek that winds through the property. Very private and quiet. The outdoor firepit was so nice. Its a great place to enjoy the evening. Plenty of firewood and firestarters were provided! The cabin was immaculate, and it had a fully stocked kitchen. In addition gas and charcoal grills are provided. I highly recommend Lil' Kickback On Elk Creek and are looking forward to visiting again! "
