Ok hotell

Fint hotell med tilhørende golfanlegg. Noe aldrende og slitt enkelte plasser. Store rom og grei restaurant. Stille og fredelig område med gode turløyper.

Golf hotel in the middle of nowhere

This is a Golf-themed hotel close to the German-Dutch border in the town of Brunssum and close to Geilenkirchen. It is very quiet out of the Golf season. The rooms are quite spacious, actually they are more like suites with a living room and open kitchen. You will need a car. I've been told that there is a bus service but it is not clear when it is operational.

Greit hotell med topp service og god mat. Iskaldt rom ved ankomst men det ordnet seg ila kvelden. Stille rom med flott utsikt mot golfområdet.

Golf course hotel

I had a bit of a rough stay. The staff was amazing and they had a wonderful breakfast. The temperature in my room was not working so it was cold! They did get it fixed but then it would shut off in the middle of the night. The hot water went out also it took a day to fix it also. Also, I was in the penthouse and had problems with the neighboring guest clombing onto my balcony for photos. Scared the crap out of me seeing someone standing outside my bathroom window! I didn't have the number to call the desk so I let them know the next morning but I was checking out. The hotel needs some renovation and modernization in the rooms. The staff are wonderful. The place is huge! The golf course looks amazing from what I could see.

Disappointing

The staff is nice, the bar and restaurant is very nice and the rooms are huge. Rooms are ugly like some kind of golf style vs the fifties. The rooms were very cold and impractical and many strange things happened there during room service hours. The hotel is understaffed and I was told to pick up the iron myself when asked (2 star hotel??) and when you arrive after 2100 the entrance is closed and you need a code, which of course they do not tell you in advance. I would recommend you to stay away from this hotel, unless you go for the bar/dinner.

Zeer zeker waar voor ons geld!

We boekten, op het allerlaatste moment, een kamer voor 2 nachten en kregen een ontzettend ruime kamer met comfortabele bedden en de rust die we zochten. Probleempjes werden vriendelijk opgelost, en de sfeer was gemoedelijk. De prijzen in het restaurant waren laag en het eten was eenvoudig maar erg lekker. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Spacious room in the outskirts

The "room" as large - it was in fact an appartment with living room/kitchen, WC, bathroom and sleeping room, all very clean and nice. This is a very quiet place, no noise at all at night (very little traffic and golfers are tired after a day at the course...). You can walk to Brunssum for an evening meal (2km one way) if you don't want to use the in-house restaurant. A car is probably a must to use this hotel - parking is free. The breakfast was nice, but not included in the price - this is the only minus with staying here.

The most beautiful golf course in the Nederlands

Hotel staff is very friendly and willingly assist foreigners if they don't understand the customs. The rooms were spacious and clean. We appreciated the coffee and milk available in the room. Breakfast was delicious!
