"Not what it used to be. This hotel has been a long time favorite of ours. We have been staying there twice a year on average. We weathered hurricane Ian, liked the kitchenette durring covid, etc. Before covid they had a decent breakfast that never came back, room house keeping is hit and miss (you are told to leave yourdirty towelsand garbage outsideyourroom and it will be removed), they now are charging for parking just because they can, the gentleman front desks basically blew off our concerns about fireworks being shot off from the parkinglot and beach, etc. The hotel is still kept clean over all and continue to update rooms, most of the staff are extremely nice and helpful. We will still likely continue to stay here but will shop around before blindly booking this hotel as our go to."

"I booked a king sized bed for 1 person because I like a bigger bed and it was the same price for 2 queen sized beds, the lady at the desk was really rude and kept asking if it was one person staying there (it was just me) 9am comes around, my check out is 10am, her and a man were pacing back and forth outside waiting for me to leave, when I went to take my stuff to my car they locked my key card when I still had a few things in my room, they were both nasty to me and tried getting me to pay more money till I threatened to call the police. I wouldn’t stay here again if it was free! "

"Staff was friendly but owner parked their car out front and blocked the check in area every day. Even told staff it was not right to use that space for the owner. "

"I have been staying at Hampton’s for over twenty years. The hotel policy is now to clean your room every other day. I arrived on Monday, did not want the room cleaned on Wednesday so put out my do not disturb. But I did want it cleaned on Friday but it was not and housekeeping claimed I had the sign out which I did not. I complained and asked that it for sure get cleaned on Saturday. It did not. Didn’t fit their every other day schedule. Finally got cleaned Sunday. Horrible customer service. Won’t stay there again!"
