"I have just returned from a 2 day atay and found this so nice, rooms lovely and clean, ours was very spacious, enjoyed everything about this hotel, breackfast was good, entertainment good and the entertainment for children was from 8pm till 10pm and was excellent ,my grandchildren age 7 and 9 loved it , would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel "

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was stellar and we had no problems charging our EV. Our Junior suite was perfect and the bed was quite comfortable after a long day of travel. Cheers from Canada!!"

"The room is ok, but one of the curtains was torn. We missed out a paid dinner, because the information provided was inaccurate. Also not enough lighting in the bedroom and was locked out of the main building within any notice."

"It’s a lovely old building with lots of character. Definitely needs some TLC but we enjoyed our short stay. Didn’t see the entertainment so can’t comment on that. Staff were ok but probably a bit lacklustre, the lady who checked us in for breakfast was nice, the bar tender was pleasant. Check in staff could have been more cheerful and welcoming. However would definitely come again. Breakfast was good."

"Overall a great place for families with pleasure beach being about 15 min walk. Tram stop located within 5 minute walk also provides access to the whole of Blackpool. Staff very friendly and helpful nothing was too much of an ask. Both breakfast and the food menu our very limited and there isn’t much variety. This is same on kids menu. Hotel was very clean and modern. Room itself is standard size clean with a big bathroom. Very clean and modern again. Only downsize is there isn’t much storage room. Our toilet seat was faulty but when we mentioned it they where quick to apologise and said they’d get maintenance to sort it. Parking is limited and if you want to park in the car park it’s £12 pounds a day. There is free parking outside the hotel on the road but it’s very limited . Overall though excellent value for money and a pleasure staying. "

"1st time at the Ruskin, stayed three nights bed and breakfast, absolutely delighted, most definitely will be back. the staff were brilliant, friendly. polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, our room was spotless (as was the hotel in general),the bar service was spot on with a great choice of drinks and food, the entertainment every night in the cabaret lounge was really good, all in all a great weekend."
