Checked in very late at night while traveling. Staff was accommodating to our circumstances and treated us courteously. Room was very basic but maintained well. A/C blew cold and mini-fridge kept beverages crisp. Did not use the pool but it appeared to be in good shape and maintained regularly. Breakfast was served promptly as we were informed, items were fresh, and cleanup was simple. Would stay here again on my way through Virginia.

The entire staff was like family. Quiet. Clean. Me amazingly soft beds. Laminated floors, so bring slippers. Tiny bit outdated, but that keeps the cost down. Very safe. Personalized water bottles too make you feel welcome coming and going. Big TVs. Cold refrigerator and freezer BEDS ARE TALL. If YOU aren't, they have stools with railings to help you. Parking lots will lit. Outside pool looked very clean. BREAKFAST WAS THE BEST!!!

Very nice place to stay for Whats we needed We were at college for a weekend and it worked out perfect for us We were close by the school, the place was a older place but very clean and the breakfast every morning had a lot of options, it was nice and I enjoyed it and it was all very good 👍 The staff that I interacted with was Dianna and Janna during our stay. These ladies were so wonderful, friendly, very helpful and accommodating with answers and assistance with all my questions and any needs that arose during our stay. They have nice personal touches with the labels on the complimentary water bottles they give you at check in and check out, which I found so nice. 😊 I would definitely say if you want a nice clean, friendly, no frills but really good breakfast and nice HOT showers little quieter place to stay…. I would say go to Timberlake Motel

Another excellent stay at Timberlake Hotel! This is such a wonderful option for us when we travel to visit our grandchildren - just several minutes away! The staff are all amazing and we can't beat the convenience or the value!

Timberlake Motel was a great place to stay for graduation weekend at Liberty University. Nice to be away from the congestion but easy access to get on campus. The staff and owner went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed each day and they were always available to answer questions. This motel was very clean and so easy to maneuver through. I highly recommend it for graduation weekend and any other busy weekend in the area!

The motel advertises non smoking. However, from the second you walk in, it heavily smells of smoke through the whole place. At the entrance, there is some type of liquid being released in the air and the room had a plugged in potpourri pot going. It was overbearing in the room. All of this was to disguise the overall terrible smell. I even broke out in a rash and was only in the room for a few minutes. The bathroom also had mold in all the caulk along the shower. The floor of the shower was also dirty. The employee at the desk was nice and helpful.
