"On day three of the stay workmen were working with heavy equipment from 08.00 on the flat roof directly above our apartment, waking us and also using the terrace outside the room which was supposed to be for our personal use. "Great value budget hotel in Zakynthos Town, just a minute to the shops and even less to the waterfront. Helpful staff, spacious room. My only gripe would be the ensuite layout and fittings were a little scruffy and that the shower curtain caused the floor to flood when taking a shower."

Housekeeping was done only on the third day (which we were told was apparently the norm) and greasiness of the floor did improve after the cleaning.
