Hotel Romance

10/10 Excellent

"I recently returned from a trip of a lifetime to the beautiful Czech Republic, and staying at Hotel Romance in Karlovy Vary was hands down the most special part of my entire journey. From the moment I arrived, the customer care was absolutely wonderful. The staff are incredibly helpful, personable, and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. My room was completely spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. To add to an already perfect stay, the food was excellent—every meal was a delight. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. The location is also unbeatable. You are steps away from everything, making it incredibly easy to walk to the historic colonnades, thermal springs, and all the local shops. I cannot recommend Hotel Romance enough. If you are planning a visit to Karlovy Vary and want a charming, flawless experience, this is the place to book."

CARLSBAD PLAZA Medical Spa & Wellness hotel

10/10 Excellent

"From the moment we walked in with our cross-continent backpacks in tow the staff was attentive, helpful and kind. The property was just what we needed for our ladies meet up in Czechia, Amsterdam-Seattle. The room was spacious and clean. The pillow menu was lovely. My daughter absolutely loved the breakfast buffet. Compared to the standards in the United States this was far and beyond a luxury experience. My only critique which makes me rethink booking at this particular location is the spa hours. They are simply too short."

Spa Resort Sanssouci

10/10 Excellent

"Went to Blue first, and an endless line for checking with no extra help. Two middle-aged ladies at the desk did the best considering. Then a surprise that I had to go to Green building instead. Wasted almost a half an hour only to go to a different place. At Green building, what a difference, at the desk Dominik was great quick and very efficient. David was fantastic as well when I extended my stay."

Savoy Westend Hotel

8/10 Good

"Generally the hotel is really stylish and is in a nice setting with good underground parking (although this is quite a bit extra). The breakfasts are sufficient and well presented. The pool and spa are nice and clean and what you would expect from a hotel of this cost. It's a 10mins walk in to the town (downhill going, but uphill coming back 😧). Overall, it's is a decent 5star hotel with service and amenities you would expect for what you are paying."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Lužec?

The best time to go to Lužec is during the late spring or early autumn months, specifically May, June, September, and early October.

These periods offer pleasant weather, usually with comfortable temperatures and less rainfall than the summer. The countryside around Lužec, with its rolling hills and forests, is particularly scenic during these months, whether it's the fresh greenery of spring or the rich colours of autumn. It's also a good time to enjoy outdoor activities like walking or cycling without the intense heat of mid-summer or the chill of winter.

For those looking for a relaxing getaway, these shoulder seasons mean fewer crowds at popular attractions in the nearby spa town of Karlovy Vary.
