It is rated high because of pool, gym but has no food, is remote (only car), rooms are hostel type with limited lighting and showers you have to bend and crouch to take a shower. "Great stay! They really went out of their way to take care of guests. Really enjoyed the pool after a long day of hiking. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and a huge breakfast spread. Highly recommend and would stay there again! "

"The 4 course evening meal was excellent; tasty, inventive and beautifully presented. The room was large and from the balcony one could hear cowbells in the evening and a rooster in the morning. And one can walk a short distance and board the gondola to the top of the mountain. "

"Stayed four nights. It was a great base camp for exploring the area. The breakfast was great with lots of options. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Ty room was nice and the balcony was a bonus. Our only complaint is that the bed was hard and the pillows were harder but we ran into that issue all over northern Italy."
