Clean room and very friendly staff. There were frequent power interruptions before the hotel generator kicked in, but that is a Zambian national problem and not due to the hotel.

Wonderful Golf and a very very good spa. The exchange rate to USD so good you will be amazed. 1hr Massage, sauna and a wonderful filet with salad etc on your first day after 28hr travel from US makes this the perfect place 68 USD todays rate. Go see the safari animals and enjoy the brewery and barnyard pubs also on property.

Great resort, the rooms and lounges are beautiful and extremely comfortable. Service was really good but food was only reasonable on the golf café and the brewery. Good but not great. Overall, great place to stay. Will definitely come back when travelling to Lusaka.

Wonderful location in the countryside, great attention to detail regarding the decor, comfortable rooms, with tea and coffee and an iron in the room. Great shower and clean rooms. Breakfast was great too.

A beautiful property and close to the airport with a convenient shuttle. Book it ahead. Great pool. Dining options are good however many of the items on the menu are not available. The wine list is basic and their cellar air con was broken so it was warmer inside than out. All well intentioned and friendly service but training and execution are not quite where they could be.

The resort and spa property is the highlight. Beautifully manicured grounds. Lots of room to walk about. Gorgeous pool area with thatch-covered bar area. Elements is a very good restaurant. There's also The Brewery next to the convention centre -- a great place for good food and to sample a few craft beers. The golf course also has a restaurant and the course itself is a 10 minute walk from the hotel rooms. The course is in great shape and fairly priced. My caddy, Pearson, knew the game well and was a big help. The gym is first class and full of all the necessary gear with all machines well maintained and in full working order. Staff are excellent! My room was spacious and well appointed. On the downside, there were plenty of mozzies about, so some courtesy mosquito repellent should be in every room. The air conditioning rarely worked, which made sleep a bit difficult. This was compounded by periodic power outages, often at very inconvenient times. But overall -- highly recommended.

First of all, it’s Zambia so my expectations were somewhat low but it was a Marriot and at Marriot prices. The hotel had back up generators for frequent brown outs so that’s a plus but it did lack qualified electrical support-electronic locks didn’t work properly, bathroom light wouldn’t shut off.

The property location in the outskirts of Lusaka makes it ideal for a gateaway and good for resting. Facilities such as the swiming pool are in very good consition. The service is very good-mostly served by Dominic who made our stay memorable. They can do better in waiter training and motivation but Dominic was simply amazing.

1. It is unfortunate that the property did not acknowledge messages sent through Expedia even though upon calling, they confirmed they not only had received but also action requests from those messages. An example is support pickup. 2. Despite confirming airport pickup by phone before travel, on arrival, there was no one waiting. Efforts to reach the property by phone upon arriving were unsuccessful (no one picked up) until we acquired a local simcard. Even then, there seems to have been poor coordination since the driver went to the domestic terminal despite having shared the flight number and airline. 3. Upon arriving at the property, the sense one got was over familiarity of staff, from reception to the spa, with guests of African descent. As a result, and based on sharing of experiences with other members of the wedding party of European descent, there was a clearly inferior service and experience. Even when we communicated dissatisfaction with service, or service failures, there was little effort to address the lapses. Most disappointing especially given that we had traveled for a beautiful event ie witnessing and celebrating the Union of a dear friend.

Were placed in a room opposite the house keeping services which woke us up late at night and also 7am in the morning with cackling staff who did not respect guests.. they subsequently moved us to another room and the shower leaked into the corridor and got clothes and shoes wet. Needs some attention...
