A gem in the Olive Groves

We visited this property because we wanted a convenient location in Andalusia between Cordoba and Granada. Three nights was all we had allocated for this particular rental. I have regretted that decision ever since. I wish now we had stayed much longer! Our two bedroom apartment was comfortable and appropriately equipped, and the view from our private terrace of the olive groves and castle of Luque was beautiful. The grounds of the Casa Rural were immaculately groomed, with rustic artful touches everywhere. The gorgeous pool was inviting. But best of all, was the extraordinary warm hospitality we received from Balbino and Carmen, who made our stay special. From the moment we arrived our hosts made us feel welcome - Balbino presented us with fresh veggies from his poolside garden and olive oil from his grove of trees, Carmen prepared a special romantic dinner for us under the stars on our last night - we left the next day feeling as though we were saying goodbye to old friends. Five stars are not enough to express our enthusiasm for this particular Homeaway. A visit to this property is worth far more than a place to sleep - make sure you allow enough time to truly enjoy the special environment these two have created in the middle of the olive groves of Andalusia.

Schƶne Ferienwohnung in herrlicher Umgebung

Die Ferienwohnungen waren gerƤumig, hatten 2 Schlafzimmer, Klimaanlage (von uns Ende Mai / Anfang Juni nicht benƶtigt) und MĆ¼ckengitter vor den Fenstern (hilfreich, da es wie meist im SĆ¼den MĆ¼cken gibt, wenn auch nicht viele). Die beiden Ferienwohungen liegen im1. OG nebeneinander. Man hat Zugang Ć¼ber eine schƶne AuƟentreppe. Wir hatten die Wohnung zum Berg nach Luque hin. Der Vermieter wohnt direkt unterhalb. Gelegentlich sitzt er abends mal auƟen im Vorgarten und das hƶrt man dann auch schon mal. Er wohnt eben auch da, verstƤndlich. Aber zwischen 22:00 und 23:00 Uhr war eigentlich immer spƤtestens Ruhe. Also kein Problem! Ein Highlight ist die schƶne West-Terasse mit herrlichem Blick auf die riesigen weiten Olivenhaine, wo man abends bei Sonnenuntergang das Abendessen genieƟen kann. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend. VerstƤndigung ist in Spanisch und Franzƶsisch mƶglich. Ein zweites Highlight ist der schƶne Swimmingpool in schƶner Umgebung, den wir ebenfalls sehr genossen haben. In Tages-Reichweite gibt es auƟerdem viele schƶne Ausflugsziele. Vielen Dank fĆ¼r die wunderbare Woche bei Ihnen! Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Alojamiento fantĆ”stico. UbicaciĆ³n tranquila e instalaciones perfectas. La piscina estĆ” muy bien. Es un lugar ideal para desconectar y conocer la zona. Lo mejor es la atenciĆ³n de los propietarios, que hacen que te sientas como en casa. Sin duda es un alojamiento magnĆ­fico y recomendable 100%.

Elegimos la ubicaciĆ³n por la tranquilidad q parecĆ­a reflejar las fotografĆ­as y... no nos equivocamos. Hemos desconectado totalmente entre olivos y aunque hacĆ­a calor, los momentos en la piscina con el sonido de las chicharras/cigarras de fondo y las noches en la terracita han sido geniales. El propietario, Balbino, nos recibiĆ³ amablemente y nos dio la bienvenida dejando sandĆ­a de su huerto en el frigo lista para comer. Una delicia!! TambiĆ©n disfrutamos recogiendo del huerto tomates y pimientos para nuestras ensaladas. El apartamento muy limpio y acogedor y el exterior bien cuidado. Balbino siempre muy atento por lo q pudiĆ©ramos necesitar. Volveremos, nos queda mucho q ver de la VĆ­a Verde SubbĆ©tica y los municipios de alrededor. Ah! y el aceite de oliva `El CortijilloŹ¼ estupendo en las tostadas!!!

Un trĆØs bel endroit mais un sĆ©jour parfois compliquĆ©...

Petit appartement dans une maison, avec terrasse partagĆ©e avec d'autres locataires. Il y a en fait 2 appartements cĆ“te Ć  cĆ“te Ć  l'Ć©tage (ce que nous n'avions pas vu dans l'annonce), et le propriĆ©taire au rez de chaussĆ©e. Nous avons, durant les premiers jours, dĆ» partager la piscine et la terrasse avec des locataires sans-gĆŖne, mettant la musique Ć  plein volume et aimant faire des photos dĆ©nudĆ©s... TrĆØs dĆ©sagrĆ©able. Le propriĆ©taire n'est pas intervenu pour leur demander d'adopter un comportement plus correct. Malentendu Ć©galement avec le propriĆ©taire, qui nous a rĆ©clamĆ© un supplĆ©ment pour notre fils, venu passer quelques jours avec nous. Du coup, la location de ce petit appartement nous est revenue plus cher que prĆ©vu. Le tarif pour les Ć©trangers sur ce site est d'ailleurs bien supĆ©rieur Ć  celui pratiquĆ© pour les Espagnols. Dommage car l'endroit est magnifique! Sinon, la piscine perd son revĆŖtement et aurait besoin d'ĆŖtre recarrelĆ©e Ć  de nombreux endroits. Et mon Ć©pouse est tombĆ©e et s'est ouvert le coude, en se prenant les pieds dans un tuyau qui traversait le chemin!

Le luxe du calme et de la nature

Nous avons sĆ©journĆ© en famille durant 15 jours chez Balbino et Paulina. Ce sont des hĆ“tes attentifs et attentionnĆ©s. Lā€™appartement est pratique et bien agencĆ©. Un accĆØs au potager nous a permis de faire des essais culinaires espagnols avec les conseils de nos hĆ“tes ( gaspacho, tortilla, ratatouille,....) Et, avec notre accord, nous avons Ć©tĆ© adoptĆ©s par Maggie le chien de la maison ce qui a enchantĆ© nos enfants qui ont trouvĆ©s un camarade de jeux dā€™une gentillesse Ć  toute Ć©preuve.

A perfect holiday,very friendly people

Balibinos huis staat in het midden van de olijfhaarden,met een heel mooi uitzicht op het wit dorp Luque, het is ideaal voor mensen die houden van rust in een heel mooie omgeving. 10 minuten van een grote carrefour en lidl. Balbino en zijn vrouw zijn heel vriendelijke mensen en zeer gastvrij. Wij zijn zeker van plan om er terug te komen. Balbino gaf ons een geschenk, een flesje uit zijn olijboomhaard.

Nous avons passĆ© une trĆØs belle semaine Ć  Luque, au milieu de champs dā€™oliviers Ć  perte de vue. Ce gĆ®te est trĆØs bien situĆ© au cœur de lā€™Andalousie, entre Cordoue et Grenade. Lā€™accĆØs Ć  une centaine de mĆØtres de la route principale est un atout indĆ©niable. Le village de Luque est charmant et offre ce quā€™il faut pour les approvisionnements essentiels. Les villages environnants valent tous le dĆ©tour. Merci Ć  Balbino pour son hospitalitĆ©, sa sublime huile dā€™olive et ses excellents plats surprises prĆ©parĆ©s avec les lĆ©gumes frais de son jardin. Seul point vraiment nĆ©gatif, sur lā€™annonce de Homelidays, il est stipulĆ© quā€™il y a deux salles de bains dans le gĆ®te, alors que dans la rĆ©alitĆ© il nā€™y en a quā€™une. Ɖtant quatre adultes, lors de notre sĆ©lection de gĆ®tes pour notre sĆ©jour en Andalousie, avoir deux salles de bains Ć  notre disposition Ć©tait un critĆØre trĆØs important, ce fut donc lĆ  une grosse dĆ©ception. Un correctif dans lā€™annonce devrait ĆŖtre impĆ©rativement apportĆ©. Autre petite remarque, quelques Ć©lĆ©ments de vaisselle supplĆ©mentaires ne seraient pas superflus.

Nous avons passĆ© une semaine formidable Ć  Luque, au milieu des oliviers. Balbino a tout fait pour nous rendre le sĆ©jour agrĆ©able. Nous avons profitĆ© du calme de la location, de la piscine, des fruits et lĆ©gumes du jardin, du gazpacho d'Antonio. La location est idĆ©alement situĆ©e au coeur de l'Andalousie, entre la belle Cordoue et la magique Grenade. Les villages alentours, Zuheros, Luque, Priego, sont charmants et vraiment typiques de l'Ć¢me andalouse. Encore merci Balbino pour ton hospitalitĆ©.

Nous avons passĆ© une merveilleuse semaine de vacances dans ce site enchanteur. Tout est conforme au descriptif et nos hotes se sont montrĆ©s charmants. Nous avons Ć©tĆ© acceuillies avec une salade de cruditĆ©s fraiches accompagnĆ©e de fruits de saison et cette attention est bien agrĆ©able lorsque l'on vient de faire beaucoup de kilomĆ©tres. La location est parfaite, extrĆŖmement propre et super bien situĆ©e pour rayonner sur Grenade et Cordoue. Nous conseillons vivement cet endroit oĆ¹ nous reviendrons sĆ»rement un jour.

2ĆØme sĆ©jour...parfait encore

Venus l'an dernier en avril Ć  4 , nous sommes revenus Ć  5 cette fois-ci avec notre ainĆ©e en plus(13;16;19). Accueil super de Carmen et Balbino, l'huile bio, les lĆ©gumes du jardin, gracieusement mis Ć  disposition, le logement sympa, la piscine, tout ici, donne l'envie d'y revenir. Proche des grandes villes et assez loin du tourisme de masse. Excellente destination pour y dĆ©couvrir lā€™Andalousie. merci et Ć  une autre fois ???

sĆ©jour trĆØs rĆ©ussi

Nous sommes ravis de notre sĆ©jour Ć  EL CORTIJILLO. Balbino et Carmen sont charmants et trĆØs attentionnĆ©s. Ils nous ont offert gracieusement les produits de leur potager et nous ont fait dĆ©couvrir leur bonne huile d'olive. Le cadre est agrĆ©able et la rĆ©gion magnifique et riche en dĆ©couvertes. La piscine est trĆØs apprĆ©ciĆ©e aprĆØs les ballades. Nous recommanderons sans hĆ©sitation cet endroit calme et agrĆ©able et nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Brigitte et Michel

Comme en famille.

3 adultes Nous avons passĆ© une semaine superbe. Le Cortijillo est idĆ©alement placĆ© sur lā€™axe Cordoba ā€“Grenade Ć  environ 1h de route des 2 villes. A cotĆ© des superbes villages de Luque et Baena. Nous avons profitĆ© de la via verdĆ© qui est une ancienne voie ferrĆ©e convertie en piste cyclable et piĆ©tonne. Lā€™appartement est confortable dans une propriĆ©tĆ© trĆØs locale. Les propriĆ©taires sont des gens trĆØs charmants. Balbino met Ć  notre disposition son potager et nous amĆØne aussi des œufs de son poulailler. Carmen une excellente cuisiniĆØre nous prĆ©pare Ć  notre demande des plats typiques andaloux. Cā€™est sur Balbino et Carmen nous reverrons dans pas longtemps .

Escellent sƩjour

MalgrĆ© un temps parfois capricieux, le sĆ©jour Ć©tait trĆØs agrĆ©able chez Balbino et Carmen. Nous Ć©tions venus pour peindre, nous reposer et dĆ©couvrir les environs. TiercĆ© gagnant sur tour les points. Peindre avec des vues superbes et des dĆ©tails pittoresques cela parfois et souvent sans quitter le gĆ®te, des tables et chaises un peu partout pour se poser... Se reposer, parfait, Balbino et Carmen nous portait parfois des salades ou une tortilla. DĆ©couvrir, oh que oui, plein d'images dans les yeux. Priego de COrdoba, Zuheros, Baena, Cordoue, la lagune, la via verde., les aliments, les magasins (Baena toute proche), les Ć©motions visuelles (magnifique musĆ©e d'un peintre Ć  Priego). Bref sĆ©jour quasi parfait on est repartis avec un chargement d'enfer, mĆŖme du carrelage achetĆ© Ć  Baena pour notre petit patio qu'on aimerait voir devenir andalou, des pots (beaucoup moins chers que dans nos jardineries et bien sĆ»r de l'huile d'olive, dĆ©licieuse. Balbino nous a offert un cactus qui a fleuri en arrivant en France, et nous leur avons offert une aquarelle de leur village avec la piscine en premier plan. Si vous ĆŖtes curieux, demandez Ć  la voir. Bon sĆ©jour Ć  vous, vous ne serez pas dƩƧus ! On aimerait revenir pour savourer encore les oranges et la douce odeur des orangers...

TrĆØs bon sĆ©jour

Nous avons passĆ© un excellent moment calme chez Balbino et Sarmen. La piscine un peu fraĆ®che (fin avril) a quand mĆŖme reƧu quelques visites. Beaucoup apprĆ©ciĆ© les multiples points oĆ¹ se poser dans le terrain agrĆ©ablement entretenu par les hĆ“tes. Des attentions rĆ©pĆ©tĆ©es nous ont fait nous sentir trĆØs bien et l'envie de retourner est lĆ . Nous venions pour peindre et dessiner mais l'environnement prĆŖte Ć  d'agrĆ©ables visites toutes proches. Cordoue est Ć  environ 1 heure mais ne ratez pas les Ć©glises de Priego de Cordoba ainsi que son musĆ©e d'un peintre local de grande qualitĆ©. Zuheros aussi vaut le dĆ©tour avec ses randonnĆ©es. Baena, toute proche (environ 10 minutes) vous offrira tous les commerces nĆ©cessaires. Bon voyage aux futurs visiteurs et grand merci aux charmants hĆ“tes. Si vous ĆŖtes curieux, demandez leur de vous montrer l'aquarelle que j'ai faite de Luque, juste en face. Je la leur ai offerte ! Un gite formidable

Nous sommes accueillis par Carmen et Balbino qui sont des personnages formidables, trĆØs intentionnĆ©s, toujours disponibles qui basent tout sur la confiance et qui nous font profiter gracieusement des produits de la ferme. Le cortijillo est situĆ© au milieu des oliviers dans un environnement trĆØs calme avec une vue imprenable sur la Sierra et le charmant village de Luque. Un gite trĆØs propre, trĆØs bien Ć©quipĆ© beaucoup de confort. IdĆ©alement situĆ© pour ceux qui veulent dĆ©couvrir le patrimoine Andalou (1h de Cordoue et de Grenade, 2h de Malaga et Seville) Nous reviendrons Chez Carmen et Balbino !
